✏️ NOTES
Recipe:
For one smoothie:
- 3/4th cup frozen spinach
- 1 Apple
- Quarter of a Cucumber
- 1 stick of celery
- half a cup of Broccoli
- A few chunks of mango
- Half an inch of Ginger root, about a teaspoon
- A quarter of an Avocado
- Juice from half a Lemon
- 1 heaping tablespoon of Parsley
- 1 heaping tablespoon of Watercress,
- 3/4 cups of water
Blend it!

Just made this today and the recipe is a keeper! The watercress and ginger gives it a great flavor punch and I like how it's a little sweet, but not too much and not overwhelmingly veggie tasting. Next I'm going to try your freezer bag plan. Thank you for this! 💚🥑🍎🥒🥦🥭💚

As someone just getting into juicing I agree with using spinach instead of kale because that taste is SO AGGRESSIVE and I’m just easing my way into this new life 😅. Thanks for the recipe!

almonds,chocolate,banana,pineapple, green tea, walnuts (diiffrent combinations) :)

Most people will get gallstones if they have raw spinach every day (because of the oxalates) so you either need to soak it in warm water first or add calcium that can combine with the oxalates in the stomach (like powdered egg shell). Love this recipe 😀 I'm going to try it with whole fermented lemons.

Love this! Question: so you blend 4 smoothies for the week, freeze for 4 hours and then put them in the fridge? The last part isn’t computing for me but this was so so thorough thank you!

Thanks! Yup that's correct, I blend 4 smoothies, freeze in jars for 4 hours, and then put them in the fridge. So I'm taking the bags out to blend them every 4 days.

FYI, I don't think you need to peel ginger. Least I stopped doing that a while ago, still alive haha. Doesn't taste any different either. Idk what that "leftover avocado" thing you're talking about is. You mean the extra avocado snack you get as a special treat? Aren't those the best? haha I heard that if you leave the lid open jars don't crack in the freezer. Not used jars to freeze a whole lot, but the few times I did nothing cracked :) Sounds tasty! I'll keep it in mind, might try it in the summer ^_^

Interesting! I've always peeled ginger, I could try without peeling. Thanks for the tip about leaving the jar open! I've lost many a jar to freezer cracking 😭
