You might like the Samurai 510 fit. It's a relaxed straight fit with a comfortable rise that's not too high. It comes in a variety of weights but I've got the 15oz and it's great.

When I was living in Madrid I got to visit the Redcast store, such nice people! My understanding of why Kapital doesn't make their century denim selvedge is because they see it as redundant. If the sashiko works as intended it should take a "century" to break in the denim to the point of it falling apart, hence the nomenclature. That could just be marketing gimmicks at work, but that's the lore in forums.

You should think about not folding your denim when not wearing them or when putting wears on them. I personally butcher hang all my pairs especially the raw and japanese pairs.

I hang all my denim like a would dress pants but they are still folded in half. Do you think that's ok? the butcher hang is a good idea.

⁠@@JamesHerlihy half fold is okay on pairs your not wearing at all. Them being folded presses down the wrinkles and honey combing and all around shaping you are putting every wear. If you care about fades that is, that’s why your lee riders have that flat almost squared fading at the thigh because they folded them while not wearing them.
