The AI said it right there. they rely on the people that they work with and their training to enforce the law, but if everybody on the force is relying on everybody else that pretty much means nobody's actually reading and adhering to the law. And it is obvious to us, the public.

Travis, I wish you the best but I hope you are going to learn how not to ask questions in a leading or accusatory manner. Watch some lawyers like on Deliberate Indifference Wisconsin conducting depositions. ..just you being angry, right?, You were thinking..., You were letting your emotions rule you?, these types of questions will not help you in your pursuit of justice whatsoever. I realize you are not in the position to take on a costly legal defence but please don't go in with this type of an approach. You deserve to win your case and have your rights upheld but your approach has to be on getting the legal questions and proper foundations set not by asking emotional questions. Best of luck tto you Travis

I'm starting to believe Ai helps cops answer questions because, Ai answers sounds like exactly what a cop says during their depositions😮
@exploreraa983Ай бұрын
Just remember that you cannot ask leading questions on direct exanimation. You have to ask questions to make them say what you want. You may only lead a witness during cross. There are some really good trial lawyers with youtube videos that give advice for examination questions, you might check them out when you get time. Don't get too confident with the AI, its good practice, but you dont have opposition, and a real witness is not as eager to please you. Can you ask AI to be a more hostile witness? or offer objections as a prosecutor might?
@pigtrader2053Ай бұрын
That's not true when you're questioning an adverse witness. Defense counsel can go straight to leading questions. In fact, Travis should only be asking leading questions, and he should only ask questions when he 1) knows the true answer, and 2) can prove it.
@exploreraa983Ай бұрын
@@pigtrader2053 His title indicates these are deposition questions, not cross-examination. there is a difference. Many of his questioning lines are either complex, speculative, and argumentative. I think he needs to adapt his form to better suit a Louisiana judge, who is going to be very protective of the officer, and is not likely to declare an officer as a hostile witness.
@pigtrader2053Ай бұрын
@@exploreraa983 My mistake. I didn't take "deposition" seriously because Travis is not going to get to depose Miller. And I agree on your assessment of the questions. To be more harsh: None of the questions have any value. But it was a good exercise in seeing that the AI was pretty darn good in answering questions without allowing Travis to gain any ground.

I'm sure they are... it's like a football team showing their competitor their play book. But he doesn't seem to care. He replied to my cautionary statement to this effect on another video. I wish him the best of luck. It's misfortunate he cannot get an attorney, the law is actually on his side, but the law in Louisiana can be weird, and it does not favor the citizen.
@xandertreeАй бұрын
I think the video might be a sort of parity. I suspect he's only making this video, and others, in jest. It's a kind of cognitive dissonance, and like civil disobedience. It's a kangaroo justice system

Leading questions are only prohibited on direct examination. All questions on cross examination typically *should* be leading, in fact normally start with "Isn't it true that..."
@wilmerwalton5089Ай бұрын
I think your use of AI is admirable, and you're definitely on the right track. But, I've never heard so many leading questions in such a short period. I can hear the stream of objections from the prosecutor now. You can't put words in the mouth of the witness and loaded questions should be carefully used, if at all. You must have a followup question ready for each response, that propels you to the answer you're seeking. You're playing multi-level chess, not checkers. If you can tell the AI when to switch levels, it can tell you what move to make. Get it's help with follow-up questions. The DA will be playing his AI against your AI. The witness will have canned answers given by the DA.

At the end of the day ,I get, standing up for our rights, but if you have nothing to hide and just wanna get on with your day without getting hassled or going to jail what's the point of standing your ground when all we have to do is show our ID? Most cops don't care about our rights. Putting torcher cuffs on and taking us to jail for no reason. Just show your ID and get on with your day. What a waste of your life. These issues are never ever going to change. Lol.

NO- change is possible... if every citizen knew and stood up for their rights, policing would be very different in this country.... they do it because they can get away with it. Just look at Irizary vs Yehia... it can be done pro se! But it takes a lot of work.

Adding in his narrative and all other information may really find holes and inconstancies. Put all information by all "witnesses" and who provided the information. That would be cool! I know that attorneys that I have used have found things that I wouldn't have noticed before.
