Thanks for the tutorial! What did you stabilize the fabric in the hoop with? Batting or stabilizer ?

For this project, Larissa used the batting of the sandwich for the stabilizer.

Good question! You'll want to do your quilt sandwich, and the batting will take the place of the stabilizer. Using a magnetic hoop can help with this tremendously! If you don't have your back, make sure to check under your needle plate often - batting can often create a lot of lint down there!
