If you guys love Overcooked, a co-op game I recommend is "It Takes Two"!!!!! My boyfriend and I LOVE it because it's an adventure game and with every scene, you get a different ability, and you HAVE to work together to get through the levels. Definitely a must play game and the graphics are beautiful.

Yeah for those wondering, never get a proper "gaming chair", it has no real comfort and is stupidly expensive for no reason - office chair with lumbar support is 100% the way to go :)

Welcome to the gaming world! Me and my boyfriend play black desert online. It’s an mmorpg. It’s great in the sense that you can play by yourself and do quest by yourself but if you want to play with others it works well for others as well. This game is like life. You have different skills that you can level up and different tasks that you can also do. If you like grinding, fighting monsters then there are all these places that you can go to train. The bosses are fun and always challenging. I like that they always come out with updates making the game more challenging or fun. I’ve been playing for about 4 years now and I feel like I’m still not done.

Doesn’t have to be a gaming chair - a steel case leap or Herman Miller aeron second hand will last you ages and outlast any gaming chair (mine doubles as my office chair). And get a good mouse, find one that fits your hand and gaming style. Your hand will thank you. xx

I've been with my husband for 25 years and 14-15 years ago my husband and his best friend were big time World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy players . Every bit of his spare time was spent online and with him so I thought if I was ever going to get to spend any time with my husband it was to learn to play online games. I made a Wow character and it became addicting super fast. My home office became Warcraft central, our friend would bring his stuff over and we'd all use headsets to play and talk to each other and we're all in the same room playing for days at a time, it was crazy. Straight out of Southpark lol. Years and years later we have made our own guild and have played with the same group of people in our guild this whole time, have made friends with people all over the world. I have 10 different characters and I am the one missing it when we don't play now that we are taking a break. About 12 years ago we even got my now 76 year old mother playing, it's silly, wasteful and crazy but awesome at the same time!

You should try out Trine! A side-scrolling, platform-puzzle game with stunning visuals. Perfect to play as a couple or with friends where one might be a newbie since you can co-op and switch between characters and help eachother out. I have never been a gamer but I was hooked! And the best part is that there are 4 sequels.

aaaaa it's so nice seeing people getting into games!! it's one of my most frequent hobbies!! my fav genre of games is usually storybased rpgs! i highly recommend the mass effect trilogy (sci-fi rpg that takes place in space, i'm not the biggest sci-fi fan but i LOVE me), the dragon age series (fantasy rpg done by the same house that made mass effect) and the one and only: the witcher 3, that game is truly a masterpiece and everyone needs to play it ASAP. a good game you two could play in co-op is stardew valley, it's a farm simulator with an old school pixel style; it's such a wholesome game and the soundtrack is AMAZING. it's also perfect and super fun to play with other people 🥰 another good story based series is the life is strange series, it currently has four games and the fourth one recently came out! i highly recommended it, just an fyi, you WILL cry.

hey tina! this might be a little too late, but i TOTALLY recommend Genshin Impact. It’s a co-op game once you reach level 16 (which isn’t that hard to do). There’s a long plot, and they just added more to the story! Check it out and if you end up not liking it that’s okay!

My husband and I love co op games. We enjoyed Unraveled and Shovel Knight (be warned though because there are levels in this game that were clearly not designed for two people so maybe take turns in the later levels). So fun!!

Gaming PCs have always been really expensive. ESPECIALLY if you have a great graphics card (which is pretty important for gaming). My whole PC (excluding monitors, mouse, headset, keyboard) is about $4k aud! I did a white build so all my internals and case are white and it seems like you have a white build too and unfortunately for us, white builds are more expensive :'( LOOOOOVE you final gaming set up tho! Will probably look at getting a set up like yours when I move into my own home with my partner!
