I bought a pair of diamond doves but the thing is that I don't know how to tame them I kinda keep them in the cage so can u tell how can I tame them and and another question does your dove stays all day in his cage or just fly's all around the house I know my question is kinda dumb but HELP PLEASE

It's alot easier to tame them when they just left the nest. Otherwise, you'll need to trim their flights, so they can't fly away from you while training them to perch on your fingers everyday. My dove spends her time outside her cage up to 6 hours or so as long as I'm home. She sticks next to me all day and doesns't go to anyone or anywhere which is very awesome of a dove. :)

@@bluetheirn thank u for your reply but my dove can't really fly that much I didn't trim their flight but still they can't fly that much and I open their cage in the morning so basically they're out if their cage all day but when ever I try to feed them by my hand they fly away but still I'm TRYING ........ What should I do to get their trust
