It's kinda sad too, because from what we've seen so far he seems to be the least creative builder there (everyone else who bought land in aque town adapted to make their builds fit the style and then Grian comes in and just makes "barge but tall") like Grian's great builder, I'm not saying he isn't, but he really could have done better in aque town and I'm hoping he just sells most of the land he got (because I remember him saying he really just wanted one more plot but he bid on all of them to make sure he got one)

I think Grian was pretty creative in how he handled the design, basing it off big Ben, still making it work in a new York city style environment, and keeping it the barge. I think that was pretty creative. Of course we can also go with the matter that technically the barge HQ isn't part of aquetown.

It would be pretty cool if you could use a pack to make one of the music discs sound like a waterfall, like when grian talks through the music disc from the barge quest. You could put a jukebox near or under the waterfall so that when you get close to it, it will sound like a waterfall. In my opinion this would be a great touch to the life around the village.

Ok, weird suggestion but here me out. Try using crimson wood. I know- it's not the prettiest, but if you were going for a potion brewing/witches hut you could play on the undead theme by using some reds and potentially mixing in some brick to make it pop.

Bdub's village has got to be my favorite S7 build, no contest. I love all the little details, the subtle terraforming, the detailed interiors (on most buildings!). I could actually picture myself living in the village, walking the path to the stables, maybe even attempting to scale the cliff (Free Solo!). A lot of hermits build for that flyover effect, but I definitely think that the walking experience is always most important. And Bdubbs has mastered that.
