I am having this pain last 6 month or more . Not sure if I could take the risk of going for a surgery . Many of my known people including in various online forum people have different opinions . I m just not sure what to do

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'll be making a 2 year post op recovery video very soon. I have to say, everyone has a different experience. Different surgeons have different techniques and experience levels. For the most part, I have had a great recovery, but it took a long time to get where I am. Some days I'll still get a ache or pain, but nothing compared to what I was dealing with previously. In all, it was a night and day difference immediately after surgery and it has stayed pretty consistent with that. I no longer have shooting pains down my leg, or temporary numbness/giving out. I hope you can find a treatment that works for you. I suggest making a list of pros and cons of your options. If any benefit outweighs the risk, it might be worth considering a discectomy. But that all depends on your level of severity, Thanks for watching, I hope you get the solution you need.

Yup. They have a surgery center in the middle of the building where all their doctors work out of.

Surgery was the best thing I ever could have done. Went 2 years with the pain. 2 years too long. Been 100% for a long time now.

@DadTalk Im with you, the epidural wouldn't even help me and I was limping through work every day. I'm on day 13 with a lot of nerve pain still but it comes and goes. I know I have a few weeks to go before I feel better.

everyone having discectomy should probably stay in bed for 2 weeks , with little up time for toilets only ...no bending no twisting
