And I can't help but to empathize as our 15 yr old kitty Phead is at the goodbye stage. Probably by next week 😭😭😭 your smile helps me see the good we had 14 good years with her. My dog had invasive cancer and lived 5 years past. He was 16. Our Vet is maybe 85. Scruffy was never uncomfortable, he was the Mascot of our family! The smaller dogs really do well with treatment. They have a longer lifespan to begin with and usually treated better. Prayers to Pup! The numbers are in his corner.

Sweet girl!! Cancer sucks I am a 2x survivor, your fur baby will soon join me in the winners circle no doubt. My fur baby was diagnosed with epilepsy almost a year ago, its been a tough and expensive road. Hopefully we find a mix of meds that work because my bank acct is tapped. I am so sorry, Nova! cancer is unforgiving. I pray that the chemo will work and your sweet baby will outlive her prognosis. Cherish your time with her now. I lost my sweet Boxer girl Bella to cancer in 2018 after a 6 mos battle (her original prognosis was 30 days to 4 mos at best after her surgery). But, she made it 6 mos and for most of it she was happy and still loved life and food. I attribute her living longer to prayer and her special diet along with doggy hemp CBD oil. Which I think slowed the progression. She was 12 yrs old and my husband and I totally devoted ourselves to her for those 6 mos. We scheduled work so that one of us was home so she was never alone more than an hour. We took her to places she had never been and spoiled her. She was like a daughter to us and I will always have a hole in my heart for my sweet Bella Monkey.

I am so sorry! She reminds me of my black poodle that I grew up with. His name was Pierre. Bruce has eyes just like my Pierre. And he loved his sweaters!!!! He would go pick out a sweater when we asked if he wanted to go for a ride. He hated taking the sweaters off!!!! (Back then, pet sweaters were hard to find.) As an only child, he was like my brother (as well as my son while he played house with me). I got him when I was two or three n u refused to let anyone cut his tail off!! So, he was a had a long tail his entire life. I pray to God that Bruce will pull through. Pierre was 17 when we had to put him to sleep. He had visible tumors n became incontinent, but we took care of him 24-7. I did not believe in putting down an animal, but one morning, he told me he had to go to Rainbow bridge. He made this howl that was so heart wrenching. I called my mom who was a night nurse supervisor n let her know. I said it is his decision. We took him that morning n I held his paw as he passed away. The vet said his heart was still very strong but we did the right thing....he would have suffered greatly!! Nova, please, if it comes to a point if u ever need to put Bruce down, even if it is not for ten years or more, please stay with her n hold her hand so she feels comfort and love. She is such a beautiful girl. I hope she beats cancer....such an awful demon. I am thinking maybe that is why Tom wrote the song about cancer...?!? You both seem like animal lovers. Give Bruce a big hug n kiss from me!

I'm so sorry about Bruce 😔. We had a cat named Turtle that got lymphoma and we got her treatment and at the end they said she'd only have two more years. Well she stayed with us for eight more years and was a happy baby. She didn't pass until her boyfriend passed due to old age, they were both 16 years old. I also just got my two signed albums, Thank you for All y'all do. HOG family member in the Florida Panhandle 💜💜💜💜💜 yes I'm a 50 yo fan girl 💜

I hope Bruce has a full recovery from this. I just lost my dog , Boo from cancer last week. We had to put her down. She was scheduled tomorrow to have the cancer removed but it spread too fast and ended up developing lymphoma. She lost all her mobility. So we had to put her to rest. She just turned 13 on new years eve.. so she lived a good life. So hard to lose a fur baby. 💔
