What i love about this guide kzbin.infoUgkxKkYeOoCV_w2vPX0CSyVWkhew2c4FYk0d is that you don' need to read the whole book cover to cover ... You can skip to the chapter (lesson) you want to read about. The book is arranged almost as a problem-solving guide ... Here is the problem and here is what you need to know/do to correct it. This man knows his stuff ... But more importantly knows how to teach people how they can work with their pups themselves!

In most cases the trainer is just needing to give the dog guidance while training the owners who continuously give the dog mixed, inconsistent and confusing messages. You’ll ever meet a good pet owner who is inconsistent in their messaging to their pet.
@maemae49099 ай бұрын
I notice a lot of women feed the bad, aggressive, territorial or possessive behaviors they develop around the female owner because they don’t actually want the dog to change the behavior. They get off on the dog getting aggressive to anyone but them which is incredibly dangerous and selfish because that dog bites someone and you now have a dog that can possibly be euthanized. They know this and don’t care because they use the dog to feed their own twisted low self worth and insecurities. They actually give positive reinforcement to bad behavior wanting it to continue rather than stop to protect people and the dog.

I know I'll never get to meet you but you definitely got my vote. !!! I know from working with horses on ranches and rodeos and stuff people don't believe it but a horse can feel a fly land on their skin Then they can feel my emotions on the reins that has me in control of my horse if I'm in a bad mood they know it. if I'm in a good mood we have an awesome ride to me this is almost the same as training the dogs a person has to learn just how to read these animals not abuse them....

What people do not understand is that without guidance, redirection and showing them who is in control, that’s what’s causes dogs who have aggressive behavior or anxieties in general. Same concept with raising a child, you don’t need to treat them badly, but you need to guide them in the right direction, in order to flourish and be completely and truly happy and successful! All of which is something to be proud of. Before the sensitive Karen’s jump in, no I’m not comparing dogs and kids but it’s still the same *concept.* love and care rules all. You seem to have a perfect understanding of dog psychology. Allowing a dog to lead themselves and be independent actually causes them to react with stress. Dogs are born to seek the alpha, and when no one around them exhibits alpha traits, they assume the role of alpha. Dogs are happy, content, and at peace to follow their owners once their owners have trained the dog to respect them as the alpha in the relationship. A stressed out, angry animal is a sign of a dog that doesn't know who to follow.

Anyone who is foolish enough to question this young man's training or integrity should take into consideration that dogs are almost always better judges of character, than people are. He has a something special about him that the dogs respond to and respect. After watching many of his videos, I have a better relationship with my dogs and I thank him for that.

Dog are pack animals & if their leader (the human) does not show leadership, the dog will misbehave & either show fear or dominance. Dog Daddy's quick training session show these dogs that he is the leader & shows the owners how to convey that to the dog also. Most dogs are happy to let their owners take that lead. It's great to see so many dogs thriving after a training session. Not cowering in fear. The results really speak for themselves.

He minds me (more often than not) when were alone, but as soon as someone else or another dog comes around he is oblivious to what I say or do. I now understand why I need & more importantly how to use a prong collar. Getting one right away. Thank you Dog Daddy - PLEASE COME TO TAMPA, FLORIDA

I'm certain you have absolutely literally SAVED tons of dogs lives from being put down, and SAVED tons of owners from giving up or losing their mind and making bad choices!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Thanks again I love everything about this❤ You are helping people and dogs every day to better their daily lives, while saving lives, and that's just an amazing calling that you have Sir..BRAVO 💯

I wish Dog Daddy was around 20-25 years ago when I had a German Shepard. Her name was Cheyanne and she was a great dog. She was super protective but her protectiveness went to far sometimes and she sometimes was pretty dangerous around strangers. I remember one time me and my mom were walking her and a guy passed us on the sidewalk and she tried to lunge and bite the guy on the face. Several time I had friends over and just us wrestling around would get the dog to the point where she would want to attack my friends. We ended up giving her away because her protectiveness really started to get outta control. I miss that dog and wish she would have gotten the proper training she deserved. Rip Cheyanne.

I had very similar situation I lost my dog of 22 years last year to old age we got him from a shelter and he had been abused by a colored lady they didn't say whether she was black or Indian or just dark-skinned so colored to him different from a white person so every time he would see a person with dark skin he would bark at him or try to snap at him and it took forever till he had no teeth I guess you could say to get him to stop he was blind and no teeth when he finally quit doing it no matter what we did we couldn't get him to until then so yeah I wish we had had the proper training for him

With the guidance and training of a dog trainer I used a prong to establish leash pressure with my boxer/cattle dog mix when she was around 7 months old. She was a crazy puller and felt like she would injure me and herself. After we established that we switched to a gentle leader and now at 2 years old we are on a flat collar. The gentle leader is the most hated by her and she instantly falls in line when I put it on her, so I keep it in my pocket just incase she has a moment of regression. I'd say if you love your dog, try these tools and see what your dog responds to with the help of a trainer. My 10 month old great Pyrenees/Border Collie however was the easiest dog to train on the leash ever. Every dog is different!

Wish I’d seen his videos before we got our mutt puppy. I had only trained Irish Wolfhounds (who have their own language) but once we learn it, they’ll do anything you ask. But our dog now is maybe 1/2 trained - which is dangerous, and I’ve had a really hard time understanding her brain! She speaks something very different than Wolfhound. I do realize that he’s showing me the way to communicate with this newer family member- just wish I’d seen it sooner.

He is training the owners just as much as he is training the dog. Lots of owners don't realize that if you don't control your dog, you are hurting your dog. Once you gain control and demand what the expectations are, the dogs absolutely love it. They want to follow, they want to please you, and they will be so much happier, calm, much less anxiety, they know exactly what is going to happen etc.. The whole key is how you communicate that to the dog in a way they will respond to it. Thanks for what you do Dog Daddy, it is needed so much.

It is so refreshing to see a TRAINER training dogs! Being dogs are pack animals, you HAVE to be the pack-leader, period. I was taught to train the same way, and have saved dogs slated to be put down, all because of poor "training". Thankyou for showing how it SHOULD be done!!!

Excellent video - desperate dogs and owners are helped to transform their lives. Years ago here in the UK the first professional dog trainer (Barbara Woodhouse) said that dogs should be 'a pleasure to their owner, and a nuisance to no-one' - and that is what you prove can be done. My father was a German shepherd obedience instructor for many years and he used similar methods - he would have thoroughly approved of your way of approach. Well done!

I started using a prong caller with my dog a couple years ago because she became leash reactive after being attacked. I only entertained prong collar use after getting educated by upstate Canine Academy‘s videos. Now I think of it like a dominant dog putting mouth pressure on another dog to say “stop effing around!” It helps me assert the position of the pack leader and that has helped my dog relax because she trusts that I’m in charge, and she’s no longer leash reactive. Amazing. Loving your technique and clear communication style Augusto.

If I had only known these things 50 years ago! As a 13 year old I trained a collie for obedience, but dog psychology was unknown. Thank you for sharing your incredible methods, I'm 100% a believer!
