I’m in love with Christie, I really want one with the oxidized hair. I think the hair looks so much better as red, it suits her skin tone and it makes the doll have an edginess to her. I love Christie, she’s so pretty.

Your doll is the first version released in 1968. The first version was made with a different hair fiber that doesn’t oxidize to red like the later talking/tnt Christies. Also, another way to distinguish between Julia and Christie dolls is that Julia has a painted white pupil in her eyes. Talking/tnt Christie dolls do not have the painted white pupil. Hope this helps :)

The doll has an record inside of it,if you look inside the body,give it a dust,cause if there was dust on a real record player it would not work right,so if you dust it,could possibly help,but also it could get rusty,so if you clean it,it will help.🙂
