Once again, you amaze me! You have made what looks like a complicated build a simple assembly, which could be accomplished by the least talented of novices.............such as myself! Thank you - and now I regret buying so many chairs that were close to, but not exactly what I wanted. Who knew it would be so easy to customize a chair????

No, it's 3mm (1/8 inch), so a little thicker.

Hi Emma, I use mainly Obeche and sometimes Basswood. Both of these are available in my Etsy shop.
