I can imagine the different lengths of dread locks can be a challenge to cut out and still manage to create a short pixie cut. I think the style is a great start to growing her hair out again.

That was not nice he made her look old the dreads were better and he could have had it longer because it was already loose at the top and dreads can be brushed out and the hair colour was to harsh, you could tell she did not like it .

She wanted no more dreds. If there was only 5cm growth, that was all he had to work with. He has given her a beautiful cut that will grow out into a lovely style. The colour is very much in at the moment. She can always change it to darker when her roots need retouching, if she so wants. All in all, a great transformation.

It is a cute cut & color. However I would have not used the blowdryer or round brush. I have a blonde pixie and I always let it air dry, use a good styling product, and keep running my fingers through it and " mess" it up as its drying. Its the styling that worked against the look. Once she learns how to play with it I think she'll be happy she did it. All you need then are some cute earrings, a great lip color and you 're good to go! A pixie can really be very chic, modern, and fun.💕💋

To me there isn’t enough pixie style, the little tweaks to make it more feminine. As it grows she can play with it more. I had pixie for awhile. I loved spiking it and then loved swirling the “sideburns”. There are many ways to cut, length, style the basic pixie, options are needed. She may had it cut that short to rid the dreads possible damage.

Pull it down into bangs in the front and some tendrils on the side. Then wait a week and put a non-permanent soft light brown tint on it and you'll look close to how young you were before the cut. 😀

A fourth of the way through she was regretting this. At the end she had to force a smile. The good news is, the hair is so short (crew cut, NOT a pixie!) that it won’t be long till the ugly color can be trimmed off and her natural wave or curl will be back. More good news is that she has such a pretty face, when she does smile (if she can now), you pay attention to the hair. Whatever he paid her to be able to do that wasn’t nearly enough.

I can't even imagine the emotions she was going through cutting off 9 year old dreads! I've had mine for about a year and I am so attached to them; 9 years from now I imagine attached will turn into inseparable! I know for me my locs have deep meaning and are incredibly personal. They represent so much more then my non-dreaded hair did. I get it though. There may be a time when I'm ready for a new rebirth but I know I won't be cutting them off, I will suffer through the brushing out if it ever comes to it lol Edit: Needed to add this now that I've finished the video and read through some of these comments - The cut and color look AMAZING on her and I don't think either of them age her one bit! I also don't believe she is upset at all. She will for sure have moments where she misses her dreads, of course! But like anything new, it will take some time to get used to. Change is always scary! I was expecting a complete catastrophe from some of the comments but she looks fantastic! She looks fresh, bright and healthy and I think once her darker roots start coming in, it will look even better!

I think the colour is too harsh for her skin tone and a little too short at the back because I believe a more natural colour with more of her curls would suit her more so.
