I am literally old enough to be your grandpa, and I gotta say, this setup rocks. What stood out in my KZbin search was a thumb nail that wasn’t “antiseptic white.” You’re in about 5% there. Your tech choices are are spot on. Your cable mgt - better than you think. Lava lamp, and really all the aesthetic choices you’ve made - nice. Really nice. Now hit the books!

Hi, great set up. Did you need to support the desk somewhere over the length as well to stop the top 'sagging'?
@georgestewart97394 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing. I saw another vid where the person stated that the desk did start sagging 6 months after he set it up, The used a third leg in the back somewhere towards the middle. That did help greatly but you could still see a slight sag in the front. When I get delivery of this countertop myself ill secure a bar (underneath) in the rear and another towards the front to keep the sagging to a minimum. Great question. :-)

Hi Ben! I saw that the depth of the Oddvald Legs (27 1/2 ") is larger than the depth of the Karlby Table Top (25 5/8 "). It is not a problem? Have you cut/adapt the legs? Nice desktop set-up!
@BenBoxer5 жыл бұрын
I have not cut or adapted anything. The legs just hang over at each side by about an inch. As you can see you barely even notice it and it doesn’t impact the overall look.

I think the VESA stand looks amazing but looking at the specs of the mount it looks like it only supports up to 27", I need a mount for a 49" COMPATIBILITY - Single monitor mount is designed for most 13”to 27”flat and curved computer screens weighting up to 19.8 lbs, compliant with VESA standards 75 x 75mm and 100 x 100mm.
@BenBoxer4 жыл бұрын
I’m using a 34” monitor with a light bar and some other accessories mounted to it and I can confidently pull on the screen without feeling like it will go anywhere. While it may not be rated for a 49” monitor, if you mount everything down tight I’m confident it can hold no problem.
