Hey Chris head band cam wasent that bad an don't apologize for the video bc for me it makes it more real an everyone need to know that sometimes it can be a son of beach. Not every time do u catch a lot, an not every time goes perfect keep it up bud love from Minnesota

Head cam wasn't bad at all. Love it when it doesn't work out honestly. I get to hear ideas about why they weren't biting and sometimes that you just don't know why they aren't when they should be. It happens to fishermen around the world no matter the skill level. Fishing remember...not catching lol great video
@ericfluck71837 жыл бұрын
Hey Chris. I love how real your videos are. Dont change ever. Its called fishing not catching!

We're having trouble on Erie too bud. Me and my dad have been out all week and only caught like 10 walleye, all nursery size. Perch bite is decent though. But tomorrow starts Ohio muzzleloader deer season, so I'm definitely taking a break from the ice to hit the woods even though it's supposed to be -10 lol. Good luck brother!

Hey chris. We have the big red shanty out on east harbor and we are slaying the bluegills. Its only about 6 or 7 minutes aways from the catawba state ramp. The ice is almost a foot thick. Its like fishing in an aquarium out there. We r using wax worms and little bluegill jigs
@kaylagargaro47417 жыл бұрын
If you're going to fish bay of quinte you NEED to go to Beaver lake for walleye! It's not that far from Kingston about 45 minutes north

On lake of the woods, I always keep my otter hooked up to my snowmobile..wind, you know. I usually start my snowmobile about every hour, just to make sure I can get back to the ice castle.

@WheresTheSauce7 жыл бұрын
Regarding the snowmobile, did you try to pull start it? Or key start it? In cold temps you have to pull a snowmobile to start it Big reason why 2stroke sleds are better for the north.

Chris if you haven’t gone to simcoe yet when you do go you should fish the cooks bay part of the lake
@troyhawkins57207 жыл бұрын
You should mark some of the walleye that you release and see if any of them make it to the Maumee river lol speaking of that do you think fish migrate long distance in a big lake like Erie?
@joshj88717 жыл бұрын
Nice video. Your in my neck of the woods. Just an fyi, next time head a couple miles nw out of catawba, when hopefully the ice reforms that way. Theres some good bottom structure out there. A good depth map of the western basin will show you those areas. Pulled countless hogs from there in 13 and 14.

Man, when are you coming to Quinte and do you know where you're going yet? My wife landed a 9lber this spring on one of our first trips out in our new boat in Trenton! I was happy yet jealous! She said "got one" and I asked her if she needed the net, she said "I don't know". I nearly pooped myself when I saw the first white flash, and panicked for the net haha.

Algae blooms killed a ton of fish in Lake Erie in the summer of 2016 and 2017. You are seeing the second collapse of the Lake Erie fishery first hand. Both Americans and Canadians need to do something drastic to reduce nutrients from getting into the Great Lakes.

@karterknaack97637 жыл бұрын
josh wagner yeah because they aren't self cooled
@joshwagner54147 жыл бұрын
Dude Guy you are right but mostly wrong, most snowmobiles are liquid cooled, and the coolant runs above the track on the frame, snow flies up onto the coolers with warm coolant running through to help keep it a little cooler.
