Play three houses first! Engage is pretty much 90% battles/missions...three houses has a great balance of other cozier things + missions! It feels more immersive!

10:29 I tried to look up DecaPolice and all I could find was that it's a new series from Level 5, same company behind Layton and Yokai Watch. 27:45 probably because they wanted to do 2 because that was the debut of the 2nd Mario meaning the evil Mario meaning that being Wario. Seeing old tracks for Mario Kart 8 is great but seeing them create new ones is also cool, Wave 4 is going to have a new track called Yoshi's Island and can't wait to race on it.

I absolutely loved engage! I’d say it’s a better introduction to the franchise over three houses since it has more in common with past games, but three houses has a more compelling story so you really can’t go wrong with either.

as someone who missed out on previous nintendo consoles, Game Boy and Game Boy Advance on NSO is definitely a win! but this nintendo direct has loads of titles to play. 2023 is a win for game year 😆

So, about Fire Emblem. In general, this game series is for you if you like round-based chess-like fights, typical jrpg stories, a huge cast of playable characters and a big hub world in-between fights. The fights can be really long and games have around 20 to 30 chapters, which means 20 to 30 big fighting maps plus side quests. Next, should you play Fire Emblem Three Houses or Engage: Three Houses has this huge, dark story with four different paths and endings. The characters are really fleshed out and the fighting maps are good. The hub world is huge and should be used to optimize the characters. Compared to other Fire Emblem games, this is a little different from the typical Fire Emblem experience, but still very good. Engage focuses more on the fighting. I think the maps are better (and longer) and you have more options to individualize every character. But the story is more typical for a jrpg and the characters, although likable, are more one-dimensional. The story is also linear and you have no story choices at all. The graphics are a little bit better. All in all, Engage is more of a typical Fire Emblem game. Btw, you can interact with pets in both games and you can style your characters a little bit.

Samba de Amigo does remind people of Dance Dance Revolution and rhythm games from the arcades and stuff, which can also be inspired by Donkey Konga.

We will FINALLY play Pikmin at night. Anyone who played Pikmin 3 knows that as an excuse to stop the game and tally your daily work it was said the monsters get more fierce at night so you have to leave. So Pikmin 4 will play more like Zelda. FINALLY!!!!

If you don't know Ghost Trick, do give it a try, it's a great story/puzzle game ^^ Otherwise, Fantasy Life!! (Though the art style felt weird in what they showed), Professeur Layton, Rain Code (you might've already seen the first trailer that was announced last year I think, thus the dejà-vu feel), and oh God, so happy they'll eventually make the Golden Sun games available for more people to play them, let's hope it'll lead to a new one!! Many other stuff in there, but those are the ones that marked me most! Thanks again for your vids, have fun with the GB/GBA titles ^^

When you called Ghost Trick a retro game, it made me feel so OLD 😅 I mean it's technically true but you just never know when it sneaks up on you. I love the name cozy beyo! I'm also pretty excited for that game. Harmony also looks really really up my alley. And so many other good ones on here that I could list that I'm interested in or excited for. And of course Zelda is the one I'm most excited about. I might have to really save up for the collector's edition this time. And agreed. Loving all the demos. It's my favorite when games include a demo so you can try a game before purchasing/to tide you over until release. I also really might have to splurge for Nintendo switch online expansion now because it might really be worth it now. I need to relive my childhood on the switch please. So much good stuff coming out. 2023 is going to be a good year for gaming.
