When you do the dust collection maybe hook up a alexa so you can just say alexa turn on dust collection so you don’t have to walk across the shop to turn on and off. Just a thought. Seen others do that. 👍🏼

I'm looking to wiring a shop like this. Did you go through electrical inspection, if not would this wiring pass an inspection? Appreciate it.

Dude what a great video series! love it. Getting ready to buy the kit for my first shop. Want a similar setup. Did the kit come with the door and garage door? Or did you have to buy those separately.

Probably paranoid, but I'd have a cover for the jointer having it that close to the welder. Spatter is not your friend.

Awesome shop brother! What kind of wall system is your flag and logo made out of to hang your tools on? Once again thanks for sharing, new sub here!

Interesting no insulation under the slab, water, bathroom, or drain. Put a multi zone heat pump one head in the shop it will be more efficient then running electric heat and you will have AC in the summer priceless if you are ever planning on doing epoxy tables… I would have put more square footage into the shop then the “office”. ✌️

would you be willing to do a video of the total cost of the building, if you’re willing to share it. including everything from the pad to the drywall. I’m happy to pm you if you don’t want to share publicly. it looks amazing

Cost wise: shop was around $35K for the kit. After building the office, furnishing the whole thing, drywall for office paint, electrical, extra insulation, heating and a very long list of other stuff it was around $60k to $65k in total.
