John did you read yet the Final Appeal by Nikolay Levashov, although seeming a bit fictional he relates to a very interesting finding about binary thinking and limitless logic, he specifies that us seeing everything black and white is mostly due to our attachment to specific emotional responses in limited dualistic cognition of things. For example when one usually thinks of a tiger one sees as a rule violence and danger and because of this intensity of emotional assignment one rarely thinks of the tiger in alternative ways. Read it for yourself its something like 40 pages with the images
