The sad Hunter went off once again, thinking the challenge would be harder for the newbie, we laughed again, betting on how many carts she would face. She always looked like she was afraid of something and we just took that as she’s not a confident Hunter. However, one of us had faith in her, but they didn’t pipe in much. Her sad cat alongside her didn’t seem that confident, just like the sad hunter herself. After a few days of hearing nothing, the flap of a wingdrake’s wings could be heard alongside footsteps and a meowing palico. We all came out to see that the Sad hunter, with some burn marks and scratches, came back with several monster items, including Anjanath plates, items in which we had a very difficult time finding when we first hunted that beast. We were in shock. The sad Hunter went to upgrade her armour and her grumpy cat went along with her, followed by her poogie. She came back wearing some pieces of the beast she just slain… all we could do was stare in awe about the new hunter.

Flame Booger (Anjanath) became less of a threat to me once I figured out how to deal w/ it. Same for Tobi-Kadachi. Back when I started over a year ago, I had to switch tactics for Tobi, in order to keep up w/ it. At the time, I was a Switch Axe main, so I had to switch to Insect Glaive bcuz I could make the floor pay taxes, as Max0r would say. That monster is fast and uses the air to its advantage, so it only made sense to do the same. But when it went back to SA and had to face Anjanath, I hit such a snag. So I had to do what I never thought I’d do: use Great Sword. After going on an expedition and figuring out Anjanath fights there, I took out an Anjanath, slapped 1 of its scale on my Defender Great Sword, and eventually beat the Anjanath in the story. ….. Then Legiana happened and I’ve been a Charge Blade main since then, cuz I don’t lose stamina while using the axe mode.
