In regard to the Great Sword mains teaching the noobs, I can only think of one and they’ve got an entire series called “Pro & Noob.” That would be the Pro/Great Sword main Josh and the Noob/Hammer + Hunting Horn main CottonDynosour (*usually called “Cotton”…imagine him and CottontailVA meeting and both being called “Cotton” mid-hunt 😅🤣*) from the RageGamingVideos channel, which I highly recommend cuz they’re hilarious! Together, they usually do MH games, but they’ve also done Dauntless, Black Myth: Wukong, Hades 2 (early access), Wild Hearts, Space Marine 2, and (I think) Lethal Company, just to name a few.

I don't use Hunting Horn to buff people, I use it because I get to dance with and around the monster, play the song of my people on their head (literally), while buffing ME. If you're in range of the buff, cool.

The Hunting Horn: because it's not enough to make the monsters fear us. _We also have to drill the song of their demise into their skulls._ All of the skulls.

I’m a Dual Blades, Longsword and Sword and Shield main for the sole reason…that I like swords, I’m like Fin from Adventure Time, or Zoro from One Piece, but the descriptions are also accurate

Would recommend checking out Fear of Flame's Monster Hunter weapon "Experience" videos. Dual Blades definitely gets some love on one of those videos...mostly.

Sword and Board for life. Maxing out all of the Guard and Evasion skills makes you unkillable. Speed Tanks are terrifying.

I may not be french, but still I will look down from the skies with pity as the ground dwellers are stuck on their puny legs while the IG players soar the skies. Also Rise gave IG the advancing slash parry which is amazing. Monster doing a big attack or something? Just dash attack into it and get an automatic jump up to continue the attack.

as a monster hunter rookie, let me just say...SWITCh AXE GO BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! love the switch axe. I literally tried all the weapons out in rise at the training ground and found switch axe just clicked with me. From it's design, to how it felt while using it everything about the switch axe felt right to me.

I seem to be pretty weird. I main Hammer and Charge Blade and I have ADHD.

mainly use LS or CB. LS usually later game when I don't have to sharpen every 20 hits. CB hits like a freight train at the start so its good for that. only time I use the gun lance is when I am trying and failing to do the one shot glitch. lance is boring. hammer if I wanna cause the monster to never get up and also late game when I have a full bonk set. i tend to forget the switch axe exists. LBG HBG and bow I tend to ignore. first 2 if I just wanna be a hyper support. HH I only use for resource farming. sword and shield is trash. fight me. GS I only use for frostcraft draw. duel blades when I remember that they delete monsters health bars. also this is all in world. tried to play rise. hated it due to being so used to world as its the only monster hunter game I have played. so looking forward to wilds when it comes out. not playing the beta and sure as hell am staying away from any and all videos on it.
