A Map Of All Our Failures is my favorite one. It's an amazingly and profoundly sad, creative, versatile and melodic recording. It's absolutely genius!

LEGENDS!! Can't wait for the new album and this companion DVD. I've been loving this band since As the Flower Withers.

How they're underrated is beyond words. They're Mozarts of metal music. The best comparison I can give. Their second album was a humongous masterpiece, every album has a unique feeling and their recent style is like nothing in existance so far. And like Mozart during their lifetime few know about them. The classical musician was poor and died being forgotten. MDB members do part-time jobs to pay the rent. This is embarassing to the world of music.. and so familiar.

My Dying Bride is one of those bands I wish didn't try to explain themselves... I prefer them in that shroud of mystery. that said, I have pre-ordered the special edition CD :-)

Anathema, don't change your music style. Be like My Dying Bride.

@simo Really? Sell out tours, bigger album sales. The reason MDB is a part time band with band members having jobs to being a full time touring / recording artiste like Anathema. MDB will become more commercial in order to survive.

I think he meant that they are musically dead. No doubt, they are making more money...

@@namelessunuser Well that is plain stupid, musically they have moved on massively had they carried on as a doom band they'd have spilt up by now. Danny Cavanagh has progressed into a far better songwriter because he developed as a musician. My Dying Bride stuck in the same ditch for decades, minimal touring and got nowhere then the last album and in particular the new album has seen them move into a more commercial market. Paradise Lost have had the ability to experiment and got away with it.

I am glad to see Paradise Lost returned to roots in last two albums ;)

@@namelessunuser It is but they won't stay there, personally I prefer it when they throw in the melody - I saw their first ever gig, still mates with them.

I own the regular album but I really want to watch the full documentary. Anyone know where I can find it?
