minäki kahtoin jo että mite se nuin aikoo irrottaa, mutta saipa täpärästi kyytiin lootan, itellä oisi jo käet hartiat hapolla

Tuo laatikon irrotus ai, että kun sai makiat naurut noh onneksi ei varpaille tullut. 😂😂

thanks for sharing. in your experience, what are the chanches my m30 light weight flywheel work in m52? ive heard m30 flywheel fits if starter is swapped from m30 car or the ring gear is swapped from m52 flywheel. I am a bit sceptical that clutch disk, pressure plate and all the rest would line up perfectly. its a big job to pull tranny just to find it out.

As far as I know it can be done because the flywheel fits m52 crank. But it's lot of DIY like machining flywheel to clear the oil pan, change the ring gear which also needs machining. use m30 pressure assembly and disk and come up with some release bearing setup that suits it. If you can't do the maching/DIY stuff, it's not worth that. Just get lightweight flywheel which just replaces stock m52 dual mass flywheel. yes internals will fit and heads are virtually same.

Oisko sulla jotain vinkkejä ton kartaanin vaihdelaatikosta irroittamiseen? Pultit jo irti kartaanista ja pitäs päästä nopiaa kytkimen kimppuun! Kyseessä siis samanlainen 39 mutta tuplavanos koneella.

Pakoputki pois ja kardaanin keskilaakeri irti korista, niin irtoo. Tässä tein vähän niinkuin väärin väkisellä vääntämällä kardaanin pois ilman löysäämättä keskilaakeria.

You overengineered that clutch plate in my opinion. You don't need to weld anything, after pushing the "sun" with the press just hold the little springs compressed and release the pressure, they will stay like this after the hidraulic press is completely release. Put it like this on the car and it will automagically calibrate at first cluch press 😊

I tried that few times, but it didn't work. It releases itself every time without proper locking.

Sopii käsittääkseni kaikkiin vanhempiin kytkimiin, mitkä ei oo vielä sillä tiheähampaisella kytkinakselilla.

@@Jakedelus Tuo kuva taitaa kyllä olla väärä. Tuo on just se uudempi tiheä boori, mikä on käytössä lähinnä e90/e60 eteenpäin. Vanhemmissa on harva booritus.

Se on ihan vaan jotain äänieristysmattoa, ettei kumisis sisällä niin paljoa. Kondensio ei oikeestaan oo ongelma, kun sillä ei ajeta talvella.

So a 240mm clutch fits a 2.5l m50 dualmass flywheel? Or does a 240mm fits every former 228mm flywheel m50/m52? Love your videos man, keep it up!

Not sure about m50 dual mass flywheel, because I have not hold that on my hand. But m52, m52tu, and m54 dual mass flywheels seem to be same for 228 and 240 clutches.

Hi, I enjoy your videos a lot and got motivated by them to work myself on my e36, but i have a question. I noticed that you run 5x120 hubs on the e30 , and maybe e36 brakes (discs and callipers). I fitted 300mm discs and callipers (e46 328i front) to my e36. The the calliper is identical with e36 front calliper (54mm piston) only the support is different for the bigger disk. Many guys fit 330i e46 discs and callipers, but i noticed that 520i e39 calliper is a bigger piston than even the 330i e46? My question is what setup do you use, and have you tried fitting the e39 calliper (it is also aluminium so it is lighter)?

Yes e36 hubs, spindles, brakes everything in Petri's e30. I have thought fitting e39 aluminium calibers to some of our cars, but I have not investigated that further. And my e30 will have completely different brakes, so don't know when I'm trying those e39 calibers :D
