You should make a surviving your period guide. Like how to look cute and clothes that you wont have to feel too worried about leaking in and how you deal with cravings and cramps and bloating etc...

Also check out menstrual cups. Like anything new, it make take a couple of days to get used to, but they are a GAME CHANGER, AND they can last for up to 10 years. So no more tampons/pads.❤

Amazing that you wait to check in, I always check in online as soon as it's available just for peace of mind. I know you end up doing it again when checking your luggage at the airport but it confirms your seat choice early. One less thing to worry about.

agreed 100%. i'd rather pick my seat asap, pay for any check in luggage and have that be done with (rather than waiting til the end and getting assigned to a MIDDLE SEAT for example). i also find that in my experience the bag drop line has next to no one in it vs the line of those checking in in person. i set an alarm for myself to be able to check in exactly 24hrs before.

I tend to go the extra step of getting a confirmed seat when I book so I dont have to worry about it - it costs a couple dollars more depending on the airline but so worth it. Especially since I have bad food allergies so if it is a flight with a free meal (aka international) I can pre-order my food and get something I can eat. (Also since I tend to fly international you have to recheck in in person to show your passport anyway so I save the step of checking in online and do it all when I book.

One time (flying with Air Canada) I almost got bumped because I waited to check in at the airport, despite being there a couple hours early. Now I always check in as soon as I can (24 hours ahead), whether or not I'm checking a bag. I don't know what other airlines policies are though.

@Heather Gilbert - wow that is crazy! I usually fly Air France when going abroad and because you have to go through their passport check in person, they only care about when you check in in person, online check in only lets you pick a seat if you havent ahead of time. I'm pretty sure that Air New Zealand and Quantas were the same way when my uncle and I flew with them (he was paying so he took care of everything - but I know we pre-picked seats and we had no internet on the trip so at least the return and mid-point flights we didnt check in online - or I should say he refused to use any internet on his vacation so I found cafes to email home and we only got the free wifi at hotels - again that only I used). But then again these were all international flights with passport checks at check in - and your passport has to be verified in person by an airline employee.

it would be safer to run the dishwasher the night before just in case it breaks down or a water pipe bust , In the morning just open the door a jar to let air in. Last minute dishes in the morning could be rinse off left in sink and pour how water over them

Great tips! One thing about the dishwasher however. Running it when you are leaving for any length of time is not a good idea because this could be disastrous if it breaks or leaks and many gallons of water or flooding is sitting on the floor for a day or a week or more. Disaster on so many levels!

Is this for in states travel? I think other countries would be much more. Also I have a 45 minute drive from the airport I use. And an hour to get ready in the morning before going anywhere is standard for me so I know I'm going to give myself more than that.

Great tips! I totally agree with the writing a note the night before tip otherwise I'd forget everything in the morning. Just curious, the airports you go to, do they not require all the liquids in a transparent makeup bag? I just saw you putting the liquids into a cute cat bag which I will go get it now but for daily use not airports- I hate having to take things out and put them into the plastic bags airports provide while having a million other things on my hand so I just buy my own transparent bag.

on the 18th of september 2019 ill be flying too brisbane from perth australia. Ill be getting up at about 3-30am! my first ever flight..my aunty and uncle+cute cousins (they are like 6 years old) and im super scared! ive always had a phobia of planes even tho ive never been on one😂😂

Getting there an hour and a half early because things could go wonky????!!! That is the person who then asks and shoves and panics because they're plane is boarding. Just checking in a bag or if going overseas getting documents signed (Online checkin doesn't work for most airlines in reality when bags and border crossings are involved) can take more than 45 minutes. Depending, I've been in longer of about 1.5hrs just to drop my online-checked-in bag at the priority lines. Then security and border control can take 1-2 hours a LOT of the time. I fly internationally 1-4 times a month and have been entertaining myself by timing how long my times in the airport take and I daren't get to an airport less than 2.5hrs out, 3 - 3.5 sometimes, depending on the flight and location. Because I don't like sweating jogging through the airport after bag drop and borders. I can arrive later, yes, but then I end up being an ask, shove, and panic that ends up smelly on the plane or on arrival. Maybe we're only speaking of domestic? Gonna check out that pillow maybe!

Your travel tips are always so helpful. Do you think you would be interested in making videos about things like how you plan trips/itineraries (i.e. Flights, hotels, best places to eat or activities to do and things to see). I know you travel a lot for work but you seem to take trips for pleasure as well (which you must have to plan a bit more on your own.) I love traveling but the idea of booking a sketchy hotel or missing some great attractions can be a little overwhelming. Or even things like how you overcome or handle language barriers when traveling outside English-speaking countries. Would love to know how you navigate these things! Thanks for a great video 😀

Actually, fun fact! In denmark, you HAVE to be at the airport 2 hours before, because they had people arriving at the last minute, or security was weird and all. So def come earlier!

I can’t sleep before any type of travel. Totally understand needing multiple alarms on different devices. Several years ago there was a glitch with both my husbands and my phone over NYs eve and our clocks went funny and both our alarms didn’t go off and hubby ended up being 4 hours late for work (he was mean to leave at 4 and get there by 8, they rang at 8 wondering where he was).

Do not run appliances when you are away ! Especially if you are away for a week. Omg…it’s a recipe for disaster. One night, our dishwasher went wild and become super hot. We woke up to melted plastic glasses and cutlery. We were a couple hours away from a housefire

Can you bring a empty bottle through security that is more than 100 ml? And the snacks? That would be really good but here in sweden we cant bring any fluids more than 100ml in the carry on bag and even the apple sauce thing counts as fluids :( love your videos!

Sorry but you forgot to mention, that all your liquids on your tote or carry on bag needs to be in a clear re-sealable plastic bag. Everything has to be under 100ml etc. you should link the TSA site or something. I see dramas happening all the time because of this at security.

I set my alarm 24 hours from my flight time to check in on my phone. If you have loyalty points you can get upgraded by the order that you checked in and potentially change to a better seat. I also found that sticking to one airline ha helped since I travel frequently. I find that most of Delta’s planes have been upgraded with a built in TV
