Mel, that took so much courage to say, I'm so glad you got through it. I struggle with an eating disorder at the moment not anorexia but it is an eating disorder. I agree on the body image thing, once someone in school said to me "why are you so skinny, are you anorexic" infront of everyone and it honestly so horrible and embarrassing. I completely understand Mel, if you want to talk I'm here 🙂

Have got no words. Dunno what to say, Mel, I seriously don't. I've never had anything like an eating disorder -- it's so good to be aware. Thanks a lot. And also, love how you're donating all the revenue from Capsule for this good cause. Hats off to you, girl, you have all my respect.

Mel, you are so incredibly strong for posting this. I'm so sorry you had to go through that, but proud of you for getting through it. There's something about seeing people online being vulnerable and honest that can provide healing to others as well. This brought so much awareness into what people could be going through behind closed doors and just mental health in general. Glad to hear that you found recovery and that writing helped you in your journey. I hope you continue to write passionately and that you know people are always here to support you. You've inspired and helped so many people, including me, and for that I'm so grateful. Thank you so much for posting this video. We're all rooting for you! 🤍

I'm so glad you had the bravery to write this character because Peter Moon helped me immensely, and I'm sure he helped so many others as well. Capsule was an incredible story and Peter's struggles with food and other restrictive habits were written so well. Sometimes when you have an EDO being reminded that you're not alone can help you feel seen, and Peter was that reminder for me. You are not alone either. Here if you need someone to understand. ❤

This video was super beneficial to me, not because I have ever had anything at all like an eating disorder, but because I had no idea that something like this could possibly be unrelated to physical appearance at all. Thank you so much for being brave enough to post this video, I am so grateful to be more educated about this topic.

Hey Mel, it's great that you found the courage to overcome what you were going through. We all have secrets, regrets or whatever that we tuck deep inside of ourselves and keep them hidden from everybody around us. But sooner or later it starts eating at you from inside to come out. But you're a strong woman due to what you had put yourself through for inspiration for your series to write about. God Bless and Happy Holidays.

I really pray for you, and I can relate to almost everything. Also sometimes it's due to some childhood traumas like it was for me on top of the reasons you talked about. I literally hated myself and thought about how people looked at me but most importantly I had my own fears of things. but the only thing that was different from you was that I'm fat and I'm now losing weight. I would say that I was lost in an endless void where I felt like as soon as I want to get to the surface of the ocean, Something would freeze me and slowly lure me down. I stopped talking to all and I mean all of my friends and family except mom, 2 sisters and 2 friends. But what kind of helped me heal and focus on myself yet had more depressing pressure is going to a university. Away from all of the traumas and bad memories. This is my first semester BTW, and finals are on 4th of Dec. So I'm trying to cope and focus on myself. I'm just happy for you, and I'm happy to find someone that I can relate to but also feel sad that someone else is or was going through similar things. I am wishing you the best of luck and hope you update us with good news. We are here to listen, cuz I think more people need to talk about these things.
