as a graphic design student who did a bit of book design. A and E are good to me. C seems better for horror. E was underrated in the video. "A" maybe as well in a some way. I'd say as for prints A might be sold better and be catchy. E is e-book as someone commented here too.

I thought "A" was really cool and then nothing else impressed me, tbh. Having the characters on there is dumb because you haven't described any characters in your brief, so they won't necessarily match the appearance/number of protagonists. As others have said, they appear to be leaving nature in search of technology instead of the other way around. And they are definitely AI generated in at least one case. So dumb. I do see the vision for E, with the layers of the cabin (triangular), nature (trees), and then technology (cityscape). The monochromatic color scheme does it no favors, though. I think I would limit the circuit-board overlay to just the cityscape layer and make that red, then eliminate the middle tree layer and make the make the cabin actually look like a cabin and leave that in the same teal as the title. Add a little curl of teal smoke coming from the cabin, overlapping the city, and passing behind the title. Could look OK, I think.

The fact that people consider choosing the AI cover for a book says alot... Considering how Ai effect writers and every artist... that's just sad....

i would personally pick A as cover coz as a reader i like to read books whose cover is bit of confused or keep me in trance state if the cover reveals all then it would be kind of spoiler and there is another fact that after reading the book i must feel the story has something to do with the cover like kind of confusing and you know multilple story telling aspects if not ill be super mad about it for being like betrayed by my desire or my expectation ik my opinion wont matter much since i am 3 months late but i can inject this thought into your brain which is the most powerful weapon i have and if you want to detox then go get the book and get into cabin 5 see free promotion bye

From a reader perspective: the best would definitely be A. Beautiful cover, clear indication of the book genre, and pretty creative. Nothing even came close to it 😂 Putting aside AI or whatnot, B is giving early 2000’s YA books… feels outdated. C is def a horror book with mid cover. D looks like a Canva style poster… boring (and I personally dislike this particular style, no texture). While some say E is amazing, I unfortunately found it lacking, like the motherboard on trees kinda fell flat. TLDR; Will pick up A at the bookstore.

Worked as a rookie graphic designer for about a year. Design is always so subjective, like, my senior looked at my design and said "yeah that's golden", showed it to the client, and they absolutely hated it. I'd say the biggest factor to creating a good design is communication, in my case, the client really gave vague and general descriptions of the specs. But I think your brief was good enough to where all the people here should've had a good idea as to what you wanted in your design.

I like D as it has pretty rare color and design choice, and tells in a pretty well maner that it is a cabin in the woods, and also adds the vibe that this world is from a far techy world, a bit feel of cyber punk where it feels like we have toned down the colors of Raze from valorant, and A definitely had good textures, and specially well the depth of the texture is good, you can see that there is a variety of texture according to depth of field, i like it because i have seen people adding depth with only blur and blur, but debth can be created with other elements like, composition, brightness, texture, and color itself.

D is definitely AI omg don't use that you can see ot in the tree branches someone with that amount of rendering knowledge should be able to get the shapes to look intentional, but in reality they're very messy and randomly thrown out. trust me from an artist its AI 😭

the 10 bucks one didn't surprise me.. its a layered image of a googled moon, some image traced silhouetes and a very basic geometrically made cabin.. It was sorta.. the first project at art school kinda vibe.

A does not look teen/YA to me. Actually, it doesn't tell me a genre at all, if not for the random "techy" lines thrown on top. The scifi elements aren't incorporated into the design, but feels like an afterthought. D is an awesome design. All elements fit together, and fit the genre and target audience. I thought it might be AI, and am pleasantly surprised that it's not. My only problem is that it tells me a story about teens discovering something futuristic in the forest, so it could be misleading for this book. I like E too. Not blown away, but it works.

35$ for that??? I thought It was 300$... This dude should raise his prices, cuz that's a good design. i definitely do not agree with the 200$ one. Looks like an Action Crime novel. And for the 100$ Ai generated one, I think the composition is good and It doesn't scream AI (a.k.a there are no missing limbs) it does look YA and it's something I'd expect to find in the Sci-fi YA isle. The thing is that the vibe is not future kids going to no-wifi cabin, but kids traveling through a portal and finding themselves in the future
@ImonAhmd4 күн бұрын
No cap. As a graphic designer, none of those 5 designs looked appealing to me. $35 cover, $100 cover and as well as the yellow-black illustration of the $300 cover are AI generated. Those sci-fi elements in the $300 cover doesn't fit much. I would say the $10 cover is good but not the best and the $200 cover is very close to the best. The title font could be a little better.

@strangestway5 күн бұрын
35$ is 100% AI too. The lines on the backpacks, the "tent" and even the lines of the stairs don't make sense. There is no logic to them, no perspective, no symmetry, and the outlines of the foreground do not tell a story neither. I can tell maybe a plant and maybe a rock, but what is the rest? The number one rule when you draw silhouettes is that they have to be easily readable at first glance. It could be an amateur's mistake but considering the level of the overall design it is impossible to consider. You can't tell neither if this is a lake or not, and if it is, why are they standing on it, why isn't there any reflection and why are the stairs leading to it? There is no way a human who draws every single detail themselves would make so many incoherent decisions.

As an artist, rather underwhelmed. - None of it comes across as Dark, Creepy, Sinister Sci-fi. I think this is the problem with fiverr, the lack of communication with a client to go back and forth. At $300, variations, revisions should be expected. All this pay the money and you get dropped an image screams unprofessional. Typefonts are just dreadful.
