I personally turn over £1200 each week listing 11 items per day. I don't think you need to do 30 a day, in my experience it's the quality of stock that gets the sales. Im a full time reseller I look at the sell through rate of items that is more important than the amount of items. Quality over quantity is what works for me. I hope your business gets bigger and better with your new business plan xxx

OMG this is the latest of your vids I've watched. Going to binge watch your next 2/3 to bring me up to date. Your enthusiam for your future business practice has me exhilarated so can't wait to hear of success. I've said b4 not a reseller years ago used to buy from Charity Shops take to Dress Agencies. They were killed off by Shopping Outlets. So then I became a hoarder. Just one question my darling said b4 EVERY NATIONAL major charity shop largest outgoing is CEO's salaries all of them. When my hoarding got out of control & had to get rid of stuff I'd bag up stuff & get weighed in to sell as rags myself. It's not going to landfill. It's sorted & sold on again to people who can maybe sell on again esp in Nigeria etc. You're not putting money in CEO's pockets. Don't feel obliged go give back to Charities most are big businesses. Best of luck! I’m so glad you have been inspired to rise up to meet your goals! And thank you for the well wishes on the pregnancy ☺️ One thing I’d keep in mind is you can work your way up to your new listing goal so it’s more sustainable. I don’t remember if you mentioned how many you were doing before, but say you’re doing 10/day, you could very easily start doing 15/day and then 20/day a little later, so on and so forth. This way will give you time to learn as you go and make sure things are selling before adding more. Plus, it’ll be easier mentally and physically with smaller increases vs one large jump. Keep up the motivation and determination! 💪🔥

I think that advice that you watched might not be the best. It might well work for her (I’m sure it does) but there’s way way way too many variables between people’s businesses to compare like that. You can achieve £5k a month without doing those numbers. In regards your tilt/ebay I think you should be maximising your profit by listing items in the places that should achieve the best values.

And this wasn’t having a go by the way you know I’m not like that. You can defo achieve £5k but by sourcing higher value and better margin items, better sell through rates, choosing the appropriate platform to get the best price.

@@EcoresellerMaybe that’s the goal then, try to focus on the higher margin items. Difficult I know but it can be done. That way you don’t have to work as hard for the same amount of money and you don’t have to list or source as many items. I think my advice to the person who contacted Carrie would have been this rather than work twice as hard. I’m sure you can achieve it no matter which way you go so best of luck.

This is a great comment to keep in mind! For those who may not have seen my video, I gave the reseller two options of list the same amount of items that bring in a higher profit or list more of the same items. I personally choose the higher profit items because I like breathing room but both options have their “hard” and I like giving options. The 30 a day option I gave the reseller was assuming the fact that they can list and ~sell~ 30/day. That would mean the sell thru rate would need to increase by ensuring the items that are being listed are 1) what customers want to buy and 2) priced at a point customers will buy it at. I wish reselling could be an exact science because it would make explaining the variables so much easier! Lol

I think this is a good idea. Especially if you aim for a good profit on your items. I think childrens shoes would be good as they are so expensive. Now is the time for winter clothing also.

30 is a huge amount per day as well as sourcing, doing admin etc! I have found the sales on adidas tees and jumpers have declined recently. They are taking much longer to sell. I am gonna be more selective re adidas in future

Yes I feel loads of brands have come right down sadly. It is and it’s a goal to head for but if I don’t or can’t do 30 some days that’s ok 👌 it’s all about meeting the profit not necessarily the amount of listings x

I think you should go for it Julie..why not? you have little to lose! There is no harm in trying. I am not a reseller but I am a declutterer and have been getting rid of stuff since lockdown. I do not have an Ebay shop as I am a private seller and until the new rules came in recently (whereby as a private seller you can only list 300 items for free)- I had over 900 items listed. I now have 300 listed BUT you can list 300 PER MONTH so that's what I am doing...I am listing 300 hundred items for free per month. I do not buy to resell and I do not make enough money to worry about HMRC- I am way below the tax thresh hold. My point- is if I can do 300 items a month I feel sure that you can achieve what you want to achieve!
