Great video, this is the right decision, it's no good having things around the house for months on end, cashflow is really important

Great video, surely you'd make more money by just gradually lowering your prices and when it gets really low send it to auction

The buyer when buying mulit items. If they put in the basket they go to the top of the page and they can request an invoice for combined postage. Otherwise I just send a refund to the customer if they have already paid.

Do you think your postage price could put people off buying ? £4.99 is high to post a piece of clothing. I am not being nasty I am genuinely interested because I know personally I would be put off. 😊

if £4.99 put people off they would of not got 50 odd sales
@lyndsaybeard66962 күн бұрын
@@Lisa-cj8cuthey probably got less than they would have done with the postage factored in

Totally agree £4.99 will put a lot of people off, it would put me off knowing a small parcel is £3.39 for tracked at the most
@lyndsaybeard669611 сағат бұрын
@ that’s only when done online, second class standard 3.75 at the post office so anything under £4 is fairly reasonable

@lyndsaybeard6696 Julie does buy postage online though as most business sellers do

I’m seriously thinking of auctioning too, want to use up some items before donating as a decluttering option. It shouldn’t be allowed that bidders don’t pay, if you go to an actual auction house, that couldn’t happen, surely same rules should apply?🤷🏾♀️

I find you don't make much with auctions but when I have done them it is very rare that they don't pay

I had a lot of things liked, but I didn't bid because of the £4.99 flat postage. Sorry

This is a subjective subject because starting things at 99p will only work if the time is actually wanted. I sold quite a few Rab coats starting at 99p and they went up to around the 80 quid mark. If I had listed Next coats then would probably be lucky to get a fiver each. It's nice to clean out stock though as it frees up things up energetically ❤

Personnally I wouldn't do 99p auctions for the vultures, not worth the end result, 99p in a lot of cases. Especially as you've shown, some didn't even bother to pay. Just shows people are messing about and wasting your time. Not worth the time and effort, plus you have to pack and mail them. If the stock is really not moving, I would just give to the charity shop.
