I am desiring God. The more I desire, the more I read His word; the more I read His word, the more I desire God. I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good. His Word satisfies me daily.

This really speaks to my heart. I have been trying to share Bible reading on KZbin. I have had so many issues. Dealing with loss and death and social issues and medical issues. He has remained faithful. I continue to endure and wait on Him alone. He is faithful. An am thankful for all he does for me. Me, His servant. What a mighty God we serve!!!!

one obstacle is idol worship. where nomatter what the preacher spoon feeds us... we still idolize what he says over what The Word says..... like in the case of accepting the word "hedonism" as a proper word that can sit next to Christianity.
@MichaelMusgroveYT5 жыл бұрын
You're making a big leap, I believe, between idol worship and the term "Christian hedonism." How can words be idolized? Will you please explain more about what you mean and how you arrived at that conclusion?

Speak for yourself. What nonsense. What he is saying is God's Word.If you don't like that, find another video. I am so tired of slandering trolls like you.

@@MichaelMusgroveYT There seems to be this subgroup of people who fixate on the word hedonism (which I'm not sure he even used in this video?) and come to his videos to troll. That's all it is.

Which statement in this video did you disagree with, and upon what basis? Give the time stamp. I've asked this question to so many people & rarely, if ever, get the response. Let's see if you are different, or if you are just one of those trolls complaining about a video they didn't bother to watch.

@@MichaelMusgroveYT im not saying you idolize the word "hedonism". im saying if we(Christians) are spoon feed by a preacher into believing that "hedonism" is a word that can be holy as the word "Christian"(a follower of Christ) IS... then this is OUR(or your) idolatry of the speaker. its like congregations all over the world who have "idolized" their preacher and believe what they say over THE WORD..... at 8:20 of this video you'll see a preacher ALSO(besides j.p.) err and try to imagine something other than what the bible CLEARLY teaches-->kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqumeIR5eKaIqaM

atam mardes that quote is implying that if people read the bible they wouldn’t be christians....
@AtamMardes5 жыл бұрын
@@guzlemuzle That is exactly what it implies. Mark Twain, Issac Asimov, Albert Einstein, and Thomas Paine have read the Bible. I doubt many people have better reading comprehension than any of those guys. "It (Bible) is full of interest. It has noble poetry in it; and some clever fables; and some blood-drenched history; and some good morals; and a wealth of obscenity; and upwards of a thousand lies." Mark Twain It ain't those parts of the Bible that I can't understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do understand." Mark Twain "Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived." Isaac Asimov "The Bible, a collection of honorable, but still purely primitive, legends which are nevertheless pretty childish." Albert Einstein “It is not a God, just and good, but a devil, under the name of God, that the Bible describes.” Thomas Paine.

The Only WORDS in the bible that Are the Words of God..Are the 10 Commandments in the OT when God Gave them to Moses..And Jesus Words in the New Testament! The rest of the words Are Men's Commentary! Stay with God! Or you will be wandering in the desert longer than 40 years!
@claytonm60565 жыл бұрын
Yet how can you be sure of that if you renounce all other scripture? Because Moses delivered the message to us in Exodus, he wrote of what God said in the book for us. Same with Jesus' words. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John recorded what Jesus said. Therefore, the whole Bible is "commentary." You either accept all of scripture or none of it. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Tim. 3:16)
