This episode was so unsettling the first time watching it. When you have no idea about his bipolar disorder, it feels like a horror film. Like it's building up and you're just waiting for something horrible to happen. I can't wait for your reaction to the next episode and the "aftermath" of this!

omg. Yeah this episode, they are so good with building this wierd, unesasy atmosphere. There are such cut scenes but also too many uncomfortable moments cuting it. You can see Isak’s face just droping when they talk on the floor. But now, you can get what was the whole thing about. the conversation in the locker room, and Isak’s ‚I don’t wanna deal with mentaly ill ppl in my life’ stance… 💔 Also, we love Sana and we love the friends 😍

This episode is why I think this particular series is on a whole other level to the rest - maybe I’m biased because it was my first series but that like unease and tension you felt was growing so much the week these clips came out and the Friday clip was actually mad, I was so stressssssed. I can’t even pin point how they do it but the acting and writing is just spot on to make you feel more and more unsteady as the episode goes on. Pure genius and totally rips your heart out.

OMG OMG OMG this episode!!!! I don’t want to spoil anything…but this is the episode where it allllll kinda comes out. If you have questions, let us know! ❤️ Like the cut to black they use in the hotel while Isak is sleeping is not unlike what they did with Noora’s possible “SA” - Isak is drifting in and out of consciousness. And the conversation Isak had with Even in Ep 5 in the locker room about Isak’s mom being mentally ill explains Even stepping back. He thought Isak wouldn’t appreciate what goes on with him.

i love the way this show uses the blackout, it really puts us in the headspace of the character on not knowing what is truly happening or in noora's case what potentially happened! such a cool way of storytelling! 🩶

This episode was soo stressful, the show did a great job of making the hotel scene uncomfortable despite nothing having gone wrong yet. Tarjei's (Isak's actor) acting really shines this ep, especially in that final scene, I just want to bundle him up There's so much to say about this ep but I'm worried I'll accidentally give a spoiler for the next ep lol so I'll save those thoughts for later hahah Also, shout out to this episode for introducing me to Gabrielle - fem fine frøkner (kitchen scene) coz that song slaps

Isak's journey is very much about mental health as it is about sexuality, the topic is just much more subtle. Isak has a very strong prejudice against people with mental illnesses since his mother, who already was unstable according to Jonas, had a breakdown when his father left. Isak'a father even mentioned that he couldn't deal with it anymore. You can see it when the doctor suggested Isak see a therapist and he immediately rejected the idea. Even got back with Sonja the first time, because Isak told him how his mother was crazy and he didn't care about her since he didn't want mentally ill people around him, that' s why Even said his parents would have loved Isak. He was saying goodbye in a way. Mental health is a very integral part of Isak's journey with seeds planted since season 1. There is one remake that erases this and I really don't like that.

Yeah exactly and that's also why he always drew these pictures and wrote in another univers. Because he thought "On this univers you don't want to be with me but maybe in another you would and then we would be together"...

I think knowing all of this really brings that translation of 'they would have loved you' home and you said it so brilliantly that he was like saying goodbye sort of. wow! ahh yeah, I wouldn't really like that being completely taken away from this storyline when it feels like such an important part of the story! 🩶
