Good videos. I'm an attorney in California (general counsel) and used to do plaintiff's work. You are doing a great job with these videos. Yeah, being ready to go to trial is important. Most(?) attorneys are fearful of trial but to be fair, it's so hard to get there depending on your practice area, that it's a rare event so there's not as much "training" as you'd hope.

When I was choosing an attorney I specifically looked for those who had cases in federal district and appellate court. They cost much more, but its worth it to know they can handle your case if it goes to litigation.

Hey, local counsel is always cheaper than our firm. It's not that we do not want to help, we just want you to get a better deal. We pay to fly attorneys around the country, so ideally only folks with no good local options would hire us.
