According to my urine test, and fecal test I have upper GI bleeding intense...😢 jet black DEAD SMELLING shit and blood in my body. I can't imagine. Endoscopy on Friday

Anyone have trouble swallowing or in severe pain afterwards? I just had mine and I can’t swallow without feeling like even liquid is her to pass through and it hurts.

I have to get one because of my family history of gastric cancer. I lost my maternal grandfather to gastric cancer in 2010 when he was just 70. I know it's not that bad of a test. It's just annoying.

Here in the UK they just sedate you but you are awake so I’m hoping I don’t need to have it. On the plus side though there is no cost. I had h pylori at the beginning of the year and after treatment all the symptoms have returned although the recent test was negative for the infection. I have awful constant chest pain and was given ppi for a month.

My appointment next month I’m in the uk light sedation they said but my son also needed the same procedure he couldn’t go through with it he said the sedation didn’t work 😮

Have u done it already? I had 2 done before, one in 2015 and one in 2021 and i freaked out before each one of them 😅 but im still alive so it was all fine in the end. I might need to have another one done soon and freaking out again

I had one a few months ago.. honestly they give you a couple of shots through an IV & you’re in la la land .. your not fully unconscious but it feels like the whole process is like 30 seconds even though it’s like 15 minutes.. no point no discomfort nothing. The medicine will make you’re head feel a little shitty for a few days though

Is chronic gastritis permanent? I have had it for 7 months no end in sight. Felt good then had a setback. I got this shitty condition from an antidepressant called Prozac

It is heal able. Someone I talked to to did a strict diet, no cheat meals, always ate on time, 2.5 years later healed (endo confirmed zero inflammation) however he does things moderately for food meaning he sticks to his diet

I been suffering with acid reflux for a long time i was put on a pill It starts with a S can't think of the name off the shelf acid any way it was not working so i switch my self to Nexium been on that a long time but my heart burn started back a few days ago when i took Nexium for a few days it was not giving me a relife i also had switch to another doctor had an appointment told her her first throught was to have that kind of test done my doctor told me that test was not an easy thing to go through then she said let me try you on this medicine just started on it i feel a differents already talk to your doctor not knocking this lady video but my best bet like i said let your doctor know what you are going through.

I just had my first endoscopy yesterday and was so nervous. They gave me my discharge paperwork explaining they did see esophagitis and gastritis. I’ve suffered from GERD for over 20 years and now that I’m older I feel it’s getting worse. My follow up appointment isn’t until about a month 😢
