In my English country garden, July blooms unfold: Roses blush, their petals soft as stories told. Bees hum, weaving golden threads through fragrant air, And butterflies waltz, their delicate wings.

And as she can tell I love a hydrangea or two and they seem to be particularly well in my garden. at the moment my favourite are the blue ones by the Conservatory. Crocosmia spreads? I planted a beautiful one that bloomed several years but never spread and eventually died, perhaps its our harsh canadian winters. You have a beautiful garden

Yes, crocosmia spreads like wildfire. I wasn’t sure at first but now that I’ve added hydrangeas in the mix and other plants it breaks up all the orange! Even the leaves before they flower can be quite striking and a vibrant green so I have fallen a little bit in love with this plant really. It means that I don’t have to do very much weeding which I’m all for! Sorry that your crocosmia died, but tell me what is your favourite plant that does well in Canada? and thank you for saying I have a beautiful garden that’s very kind of you. All the best, Tracey x

Hi there glad that you are watching from Denmark! The orange flower in my garden is called Crocosmia! It spreads very quickly and is great for keeping the weeds at bay! Has lovely bright green leaves and flowers from July through August. I love it it’s such a spectacular plant! Also comes in red I believe. Happy gardening all good wishes, Tracey.🌸
