@@ixa-3140 Scott was also like that when he started out on KZbin as he always strived to put up as much educational content up on KZbin as he could... Then after a year's of doing this he decided to get his own educational website up & running outwith KZbin & as he has always said " It's All about The Bass " Apart from enjoying & admiring the way he went about constructing his KZbin Videos/which was his early attempt of everything you'll see on KZbin & then his Website, I've always liked Scott for his honesty & that's a rare commodity on KZbin & then also on his Own Official Website... No airs or graces, just getting down to putting out great overall content for intermediate, beginner & advanced player's, all the while trying different approaches, but above all making it Educational in ways that it is easy for beginners to get to grips with but above making it Enjoyable also... As what's the point of playing an instrument if your not having fun also... All The Best... And keep on playing as we need the youth of today to keep on learning & playing & then passing this on to the next generation so that these instruments & music in general doesn't wither away into nothing worth investing one's time in... As that's what i've always strived to do when replying to comments here on KZbin as it's easy to run someone down but that's not my style & even if said person is playing in any genres I'm not that keen on or I find they are being rude, I still try to give them positive feedback because as long as they are playing I can take a few blows for the team & it's overall goal of taking music & learning instruments forward, rather than just sit back watch it's demise... .....

Hi there. Fledgling bassist here. Thank you so much for all of the great content. Very helpful and I especially appreciate your clean fingernails (other beginners utilizing KZbin instructional videos understand ha). Your collection is wonderful and quite eclectic.. If I could run off with one, that Marcus Miller sounds and looks gorgeous. I have to go with that. Plus, the kid in me loves all of the knobs, even if I don’t know what they do exactly. My bass is beginner friendly, only two knobs. I picked up a used Johnson [by AXL] at my local guitar shop. I’m quite happy with its rich sound, but I’m definitely looking into Sire for my next addition. 😊
