I wish there was a feature to automatically read out the names and vague genre even though I understand you haven't the time to show them all with occasional additional info like before your collection grew. I used to listen at work on headphones with the tab in the background then quickly check if I heard something I hadn't got but sounded like I'd enjoy it. I obviously can't sit at work watching the covers!

I wish I had time to talk a little about each title, the sheer volume of films made it a struggle just to edit together. The should invent something to read out the titles as they appear on screen, I’d love that feature 🧐 cheers Justin, take care mate👍😃👍

Hi Sir Alan, One of my fav vampire movies- mini series "Salem"s lot" i think we all were creeped out with the famous window scene, & some say Steve McQueen wasn"t a great actor, my response to anybody you says that watch "The Sand Pebbles" I"m curious to what you thought of the Sartana spaghetti westerns ? I"m playing a Scream movie binge to catch up as i"ve only watched the first three 😬, classic western in "The Searchers" & so too is "Shane" "Slapshot" is hilarious, i"ll have to get a "Smokey & the Bandit" movie set, been years since i last watched them, i love the first three Spiderman movies among my fav Marvel movies, i"m not big on D.C but the first three original Superman movies are classics & a part of my youth & many others in watching those movies on tv. Superb mixture of movie genres in this video, thanks for sharing Alan 😎👍

What do you think of the Sgt. Bilko movie with Steve Martin? I haven't seen it but I do really like the original tv show. I like Steve Martin but I imagine his Bilko movie is probably on the same level of quality as his Pink Panther movies. When I visited The Phil Silvers Museum, Steve Everitt who owns the museum said that the Steve Martin film felt more like a Police Academy movie but with a platoon instead of police. He also said he thought Phil Hartman (who was in the movie as another character) would've been a better Bilko than Steve Martin.

Hi Jared, it’s actually a film I have never watched, I’ve heard nothing but negative reviews so probably explains why I e not checked it out yet but I will give it a try one day and yeah I’m guessing it’s on par with his Pink Panther character 😬 take care mate👍😃👍

@@kermitsghost I will say, I think Steve Martin is kind of brave for taking on 2 iconic comedy characters, Sgt. Bilko and Inspector Clouseau. But the originals will always be the best.

This truly is an impressive collection. Do you find time to re-watch all of them? If you buy a movie and it’s not very good, do you dispose of it or keep in the collection? Lastly, how long until you run out of space to store them?

I'm sure Alan will reply/correct me/update when he sees your question but I believe he does _pretty much_ find time to watch them all as he gets them or soon after, being an early riser and retired early. I know he got given a title he doesn't think much of as a joke and he commented "but it's in my collection now so I'll probably keep it". He is continuing to update the shelving, as you may have seen, and even without further expansion I think he already has spare capacity for over 1000 more titles. Being in that room is like sitting in your own little corner of Heaven!

Hi Alex, as Justin pointed out, I do watch as much as I can and am slowly making my way through the collection. At the moment I keep everything especially if given to me by subscribers…however for the first time a few weeks ago I picked up Arthur’s Whisky and it was so bad I donated it to charity the next day…. I have just built several isles in my library so have enough room for around another 3000 titles…so it should be a while before I start panicking over shelf space. Cheers mate, take care👍😃👍

Hi Mike 202 is a healthy amount, I think there are over 600 films in this video and that’s not even taking into account the HMV Premium collection which will have a few more 😬 cheers mate, take care👍😃👍
