styrofoam isnt to healthy for the gasmask, it will damage the rubber over time and make sure to store it in the dark because light is also bad for the rubber, and one last thing, that filter contains asbestos almost all Soviet gasmask filters do exept the m10 filter as far as i know dont quote me on that i coud be wrong about the m10 filters.
