I'm in the same boat. Never was exposed to a Turbografx growing up, but later in life when I saw what the PC ENGINE had to offer, I jumped right in. I love the graphical aesthetic PC ENGINE games have and there's a LOAD of great music on this system. My collection totals a little over 50 but that number would be higher If I had easier access to the games. Have not been to Japan for almost three years now. Believe me though, If I ever visit again, I'll be breaking the bank . . .

One of the main reasons I want to learn Kanji is to enjoy the library that much more. Many people think the PC Engine is all about Shmups but there’s so much more if you can get through the language barrier.

300+ games in 8 years is pretty awesome. I'm not sure how long it took me but I'm also at the 300 ish mark. It took me like 10 weekly live shows to talk about them all! Greta vid duder!

What a collection! I got my PC engine in quite the interesting way. My grandmother's nephew was in Japan in the 90's and he got a core grafx II with a three games. (R-type, pro yakuu world stadium and racing Damashii) So when my grandma was visiting her sister and him she told him I was into retro games. He still had it and gave it to her and she mailed it to me. So far I have 8 games (9 if you count r-type 1 & 2) Id be curious to see a video on some of the more cheaper games on the system. I'm looking to expand my collection but don't know where to look since the games are on the more expensive side Also it'd be cool in future videos if you could list the songs that you use for the video. Some great songs there.

Sadly don't own a PC Engine, but can play the Hu-Card games on my RetroFreak. Only have 3 games so far and only really played Bari bari Densetsu which I enjoyed, despite being aware it's not the best racing game on the system. I do however have Street Fighter II' and to this day I can't work waht kind of wizadry went into that port as it's bloody briliant. Want to get a PC Engine Duo at some stage. Would love to get the SNK ports for it.

That’s a lot of games! Love your import game of the day -just the right length to make time to watch one or two whenever I get a chance. Love my pc engine and games, probably a very close second only to Saturn, with Game Boy and MVS just behind it. I think the PC Engine has the biggest library of weird and lesser known titles that’s any other system and that’s one of the things that makes it great. That it’s also from a time when u can pop the game in and play without loadtimes or huge learning curves makes it just perfect. Please keep highlighting games that are lesser know that you love!!!

Only discovered the system a few years ago. After ~100 games played thus far, it has a great good-bad ratio. Better than many mainstream consoles. Great collection. Must have invested quite a bit of time & money

Thanks for sharing your awesome collection. There are several games that I am familiar in a different port back in the day. It's really inspiring to see the wonderful art covers of japanese import games. You have shown content that's never been shared by any yt blogger involved in games. Sure, they have tons of games; but, they've never shown how the cover of those games look like. Please continue with these kind of game videos from Japan.

Man, PC Engine! The console I'll buy after N64 or Dreamcast. I'm a big fan of shmups and I reckon if your a true shmup fan you should own a PC Engine. Just cause of the turbo on the controllers and shmup library. I havn't bought one yet lol I asked u a while ago about the best place to buy one. Awesome vid man!!!! Really enjoyed this cause in Australia I never saw them growing up. I actually only learned about it a few years ago when I got a Raspberry Pi3.

@MadPanicGaming5 жыл бұрын
Start off with the PC Genjin games, Star Solider games, some of the Namco games, and shooters by Compile and RED, games like Gunhed and Winds of Thunder. If you don't love those games then you won't love the PC Engine.

Impressive haul, sir. I didn't think I would recognize too many of the games (never owned a TG-16) but there are plenty in there that I know, even if I didn't play all of them. Bloody Wolf, for example, looks like it has TERRIBLE gameplay, but the music rocks. lol How would you compare the PC Engine Double Dragon II to the NES version?

The PCE version is better in pretty much every way but I still love the NES version regardless.
