Hopefully all of you EV6 Owners (and of course IONIC5, etc) can get in and get your recall completed on the ICCU software (and potentially hardware).

Yeah, did the same thing a couple days ago. Took less than an hour and it was done. I had dropped my car off after work thinking they would get it done the next day, but got a message that it was done and only needed the software update. I ended up picking up my car after work the next day as I was already too tired to go back the same day. Great experiences so far at Team Kia of El Cajon here in SoCal.

It is reasonably done. But, i got mine done, and it resets your theator sound system, and it will sound like crap, has no bass at all. Taking mine back and asking my dealership to restore the theator system back to the high quality sound it had, before the recall update.

Thanks for making this video, as I to have a 2023 EV6 GT, mine has 2300 miles. After the recall work was completed, and I got my car back, I noticed my theator sound systems now sounds like crap, absolutely no bass at all. Oh and why did you buy those wheels? They look nice yah, but the Kia O.E.M's are super awesome!!

Did your radio settings get reset? The factory settings for me didn’t sound great, but sounds good after I tweaked everything.

I suppose because of the KIA re-installation, that it does in fact, cause "other" issue with personal settings, as well as removes any and all factory downloads done automatically while ownership is compliant. I suspect it "reset" all the past D. L's I have received. With some luck, I'll get the: " Automatic D. L's" again. Il stay in touch, and let you know what the current Status is. As I intend on taking my EV6 GT back to the very same dealership, and ask why is my Sound system been changed and now sounds like absolute crap?

Our’s went in yesterday with a dead 12v battery. Pushed for an ICCU update, but they said the ICCU is back ordered. Will probably pick up a 12v AGM battery and limp along until we can get one…

Yeah, the service manager warned me that if I actually did need an ICCU it would be quite a while before they were available because they were on a national backorder. I was very happy I only needed software.
