That's a nice setup, I'm trying to get there as well. My setup right now which is budget limited but also growing is a G43 loaded with HST 124Gr standard load as my CCW IWB/nightstand gun and a S&W M&P-15 mid-length loaded with Federal/Lake City XM855 mainly just for over penetration and because I have a couple ammo boxes full of them. But I would really like a 12 gauge and a G21, the G21 over the G20 because you can swap in a 10MM barrel or convert it to any other caliber including a few special loaded super hot rounds that you can't purchase from Glock for shit and giggles. Since what I’m seeing in the top comments are people’s EDC and home defense setups...here goes: I switch EDC between a G26 gen 4 topped off with 9BPLE and a Taurus G2c with 147gr Winchester T (sometimes HST too). Home defense: Ruger LCP with FMJ in the kitchen drawer, beretta cougar 9mm on the bookshelf. 10.5 inch AR in a closet. Smith and Wesson 410 topped off with 180 gr golden sabres in another closet. M&P 22c with jhp’s in another drawer in another room.🤷🏻‍♂️. And obviously a safe full of other goodies

Sig P320 subcompact 9mm as a primary CCW gun with a Ruger LCR 9mm revolver as a backup pocket gun. Bedside gun is a DAO Sig P250 compact 9mm with streamlight tlr-1 hl light attached because it's the gun my girlfriend shoots the best. All 3 handguns are loaded with standard pressure federal HST 124 grain. Home defense gun is a Mossberg 500 12ga or AR15. Eventually I might switch my primary carry gun to the Sig P365, but the other guns will likely stay the same.

I'll throw my hat in the ring on this one 🇺🇸 EDC Walther PPQ SC 9mm with the speer gold dots Stan. Press. Home defense Walther PPQ 45 Hornady critical defense rounds and a hawes 357 Western Marshall single action revolver with 6" barrel (baaaaadddd boy right there lol about 1 lb trigger pull!) As well trusty Maverick 88 12 gauge....wifes got 380 bersa thunder on her side with precision one hps....boxes of ammo all over for range and etc. Love the gun life. God bless!

EDC is a P320 with a compact slide and Subcompact grip loaded with 125 grain speed gold dot .357sig and home defense I have a Glock 23 with 180 grain PDX1 defenders

Good video man, my EDC is a g23 gen 3 with xs standard dot 24/7 tritium night sights a TLR1 HL with standard cap mags with plus 2 extension plates by taron tactical puts me up to 15 plus 1 of federal hst 165 grain, keep it beside the bed at night beside my black aces tactical semi auto shockwave in 12 guage, 5 rounds of full power 9 pellet 00 buck, my wife's side of the bed is her g19 with tru glow tritium night sights and 2 spare mags of hornady 147 grain.

I think 45acp is a pretty good choice for home because you can use light off the shelf loads that won’t blow your ears out. Being able to hear in that situation is critical. May be more than one guy. Not a big fan of suppressors cause they make a handgun twice as big.

The Penetration Channel + I’ve watched quite a few of your comparison videos and I like them. The Underwood/ Lehigh xtreme penetrators and xtreme defenders are impressive. cartridges. They were definitely thinking outside of the box when they developed those. The defenders perform like hollow points but are way more consistent and barrier resistant. Little or no deformation.

Good gear choices. My holster and nightstand choice is the same, G30s with 2 extra magazines. I also have 12 gauge in the bedroom if 30 rounds of .45 is not enough. Take care.

This is a very good and well thought out video. I can't argue with your choices as they are close to my own. I always have a SCCY CPX-2 9mm with me for C.C. at least. For home I have a Beretta 92 9mm, H&K - Heckler & Koch USP .40 S&W, A Sig Sauer P220 .45 A.C.P. Remington Golden Saber Bonded plus extended magazines with Crimson Trace Lasergrips LG-320 and a Mossberg Shockwave with Aguila Minishell Slugs to aid in not over penetrating /spread. Most important always carry what you can use most proficiently. Having a S&W 500 Magnum or whatever isn't going to defend you if you can't control it. Get good with your E.D.C. using the same exact ammo you carry for defense. Also keep you firearms cleaned and lubed so it wont fail in an emergency. Peace

I Cary a beretta 92a1. Still looking for the best 9mm SD load as I am new to semi auto’s. From revolvers. I have 17+1 too and feel like spare mags are needless. Maybe I’m wrong.

Hey. As long as your comfortable. Although, I've never heard anyone say "I wish I'd brought less ammo to a gunfight." As far as the ammo is concerned, I would go to the range, and test multiple different SD loads, and see which one you are most accurate with, and if your gun will feed them reliably. Hope this helps. My every day conceal and carry is a Gen 5 Glock 45 with factory night sights, loaded with Hornady Critical Duty rounds chambered in 9x19, 9mm Luger that are 135 grain with standard pressure.

Great setup man, my setup is my Glock 19.5 with Speer gold dot 124 gr +p, then Ar15 with Speer gold dot 55 gr soft point. My 12 guage stays in the safe with #4 buckshot 34 pellet, I also keep a Ruger Sr45 in a hidden dresser drawer with Winchester 230 gr. Pdx1.

I carry a m&p shield 9mm hst bullets. For home I have a m&p sport 2 all decked out, and a 20g shotgun. I have 4 mags loaded up, plus more ammo and about 50 rounds of slugs. So, unless war breaks out I'm good.

I like the .45 A.C.P for inside the home. It has less penetration on hard surfaces due to size, and velocity. I have less concern for penetrating sheetrock walls. With my family in other rooms. I think the .45 works great on the soft two legged targets that may be breaking in your home though. Thanks for watching.
