The Hunter lift is my favorite at the shop I work at. Ours isn't in the ground and it sucks if you have a lowered car. Definitely recommend dropping it into the concrete.

As a technician I feel your pain. There are so many great tools that make your life easier when you come across them. The mityvac pneumatic recovery tank is awesome for recovering all kinds of fluids, I bet you could use a good induction heater for those stubborn bolts as well.

For lowered cars. The rack in the floor is a MUST. I do alignments on slammed AF cars on a normal rack, I use 12' aluminum ramps to get cars onto it. I'd definitely be trying for alittle higher caster if possible

@Gio Dezera gotta convince her. Means you don't have to do crazy things to get cars onto the dang thing. You'd laugh so hard when I try to get a slammed 350z on our rack that has less than an inch of ground clearance and negative 18° of camber in the rear. It's a nightmare is the easiest way to describe it.

I'm not sure about the Evo, but most abs cars have a sensor for each wheel, and if it fails for whatever reason, that wheel will definitely lock up while the others function properly. It will definitely shine the light on the dash as well. Hopefully it's simple as replacing the sensor.

I have the same alignment machine at work. I your toe was a way off centre. Your car will pull more according to your toe over camber. Especially when it's a very small difference between sides. Enjoying the content as all ways

Toe doesn't effect pull. It only effects tire scrub and the location of the steering wheel. Caster and camber definitely cause pulls in relation to each other

@MADFORCE32 it does affect pull. If your toe is pointing right, your car will drift right while going straight. You're correct with the other to symptoms, his camber wasn't to bad considering how much it takes. Might be a good idea to get his own alignment machine/ ramp.

@William Rainbow 85% of the time that's not at all what happens. The only way that happens is if parts are worn into a specific spot and it memory steers. If your toe is pointing to the right. Your steering wheel is low left and you want to straighten it, causing the car to go right. I've been doing alignments and raceway alignments for 10 years.

@MADFORCE32 In my experience, it's the toe that affects steering. I don't often do alignments due to having a team that can do them as well. But generally, if find the toe is the culprit and most of the time the camber isn't adjustable. Nice to chat with you anyways.

Had similar issue under hard braking at the track and realized I had intermittent problem with one of the ABS sensor Only after a couple laps I guess the sensor was getting so hot and just didn’t want to be a part of it One wheel was locking up and the other one was struggling with the abs trying to compensate for the other side Very scary Changed the faulty sensor confirmed that my front calipers were working properly and never happened again

i would imagine the dancing on braking will be the rear brakes trying to lock as you weight transfer forward due to the upgraded brakes, and the ABS trying it’s best to keep that from happening but 90’s ABS is but a shadow of what it is now

Nope. With the shot cable to the ABS sensor ABS is off. ABS lamp on in the dashboard means ABS off. Then you don't have any ABS at all, hence brakes locking up if you gove them enough pressure on the pedal.
