The story of how Hans became Hans, and why there is no other. This event shaped Diesel Brothers future in ways that no one could expect, and was the test of the groups mettle, a consolidating moment that's effects ripple through time to this day, and will continue to do so going forward. It’s really cool to see how well you guys are doing with KZbin.. Honestly during the years of the TV show, I was a massive hater.. but when you guys got out of that and picked up your KZbin channel, there was a notable shift in the quality of the content and in the overall vibe you guys had (for the better, in my opinion). Slowly became a fan, and now I am addicted to the videos. You’re doing great work, especially the way you’ve gone out of your way to find large scale projects that are great content and extremely charitable at the same time. People helping people is a beautiful thing!

If it's anything like the Arkansas river up in Tulsa Oklahoma area that much damage to it will permanently weaken it. Making it 100x easier for the next person to get stuck worse. The Arkansas river has claimed lives from this. One moment you're driving along on a sand bar next moment you are buried/eaten alive almost instantly. And damn near nothing will pull you out. It's illegal for that reason to ever go into that river when "dry"

It sucks recovering equipment for people performing the work, and breakage involved is a heart breaker, and recovering your own equipment is done with all your own expense and its not just monetary loses you said it your self almost lost two employees, friendship with the local government, and the feeling of doubt. It sucks but you are one of the best at what you do, so you always get the job done pissed, sad, overworked, you and your crew always get the job done. Kudos for the great content to you and your crew. I absolutely love what I do and I can’t wait to wake up in the morning and head out to work. What a great and, to me, completely unknown story. Thanks for making this. While it wouldn’t help with any recovery I wonder if you’ve ever thought of hovercraft for moving people etc in these shallow-water / sandy / muddy condition. They certainly have their drawbacks but there isn’t another mode of transport that can beat an air-cushion vehicle where you can’t walk, drive yet the terrain is relatively flat and unobstructed. Thanks!

That would be awesome! Probably the one type of vehicle he doesn't have yet lol. I mean he's already sold the island, but that's a good idea.

The Great Salt Lake always wins, always. I am writing a book about Saltair and the other bathing resorts that used to operate on the shores of the Great Salt Lake. There is a reason none of them are around anymore. I did enjoy your antics on the island but I knew that eventually the Lake would win. Thanks for the great entertainment. I did like your idea of starting cruises on the lake again. They used to be a popular past time, over 100 years ago. I'd love to see them come back.

I unsubscribed after watching this. He’s ruining land because of his incompetence. You’re absolutely right. The fact he didn’t have a winch on his ranger with an anchor just shows how smooth his brain is. He decided it was a good idea to sink two multiple thousand pound machines for content is sickening. Remember money doesn’t buy brains. Guys an absolute moron.

My grandfather worked on cat equipment. When I was a kid he told me about job sites where pipes were pushed in the ground at angle around the stuck equipment to get air to break the suction in generally similar circumstances. He said in some cases dynamite from the job site was dropped down a pipe hoping it break the seal.

Fun fact. In similar conditions where stuff like tunneling is needed it is common for the construction to require pipes be bored through the mud then running super chilled fluid through them and freezing all the mud solid over a few weeks before digging the thunnels. Mud like this is EXTREMELY difficult to deal with without large scale opperations like freezing or driving dams around the mud then pumping or removing it.

Is it possible there’s something besides the swampy muddy ground making the soil so bad out there? Like could there be something leaking under the ground ? You said there was a well, and also the further you go into the ground it’s super wet. Which makes me think of a really big leak/really big underground water source like a spring or something.

It's a lake bed.. there's a high water table. So it's literally just water in the ground from the lake. No leaks or anything.
