For SBI JA, the working hour is 9:45-4:45, clearly mentioned in HR VOL 2. So, if you leave at 5pm or 5:30pm noone can say a single word. I leave at 5:30pm everyday. Sad to hear your experience. One thing I would suggest don't ever apply for SBI JA in different state other than your own.

I worked here for 1.5 year my work was - account opening, charges, kyc, cheque posting, cts, pai, APY PMJJBY, PMSBY, CKYC, ATMs, chequebook, NEFT RTGS, BULK POSTING, CASH remittance, POSTAGE, current account opening+ ckyc , FD RD, SCSS, SUKANYA, PPF, etc. But at end of the day nobody stopped me to leave office at 5 pm. When u hv cooperative staff and work life balance skill then u can manage all things. But something bank need to do is provide sufficient staff and reduce crosselling otherwise SBI is good in every aspects

@@bheem576 You can't ignore cross selling. It is everyday part. Not only Cross selling but daily targets too. Also have to do sale marketing at some point. Customer dealing is yet another thing. Just do what you can, and learn slowly. Pressure is there but it is in all other jobs too.

Although I'm clear that I'd go with UCO, have already talked to 8-10 employees of UCO and SBI. But ek cheez clear krna bhool gya, agr suppose UCO mein city sahi nhi milta, to me SBI ka DV krvakr us step tk pohnch skta hu jaha mujhe ye pta lg jaye k konsa city milega SBI milega and side by UCO mein bhi joined rhu? And fir SBI mein sahi city nhi mil rha to join hi na kru? Kya procedure rhega is case mein? will I've to intimate UCO bank? or SBI ki DV k baad joining na leni ho to kya kuch formalities hongi? Why you want to go For UCO instead of SBI? Any specific reason

@@surbhi3803 I am not here to settle (in banking sector). Work life is comparatively less stressful in UCO. I will (or might) be able to get time to study further while in UCO, but this comfort is quite hard to get while working in SBI, not for males at least, who are posted in the remotest of areas. I've talked to over 10 people, who are working in UCO and SBI. Not a single person suggested SBI JA. I had personally visited both the banks and talked to the staff. Also, many of my cousins are working in PSBs, even they haven't recommended SBI. It's not only about work life as JA/Clerk, but also future opportunities. In SBI, work load is humongous, transfer policy is shit and promotions are slow. You'll have no life to enjoy, no time to spend your hard earned salary. There are exceptions, but I don't wanna take such a major decision of my career considering those exceptions. There are some cons of choosing UCO or any other PSB over SBI, but in my priority list, those cons don't matter. If you're in the same boat, I would say choose wisely. I recently talked to a guy, who was in the same position as mine last year, he was selected in a PNB and cleared SBI JA in 1st waiting, resigned from the PSB, went ahead with SBI. Now he's fed up with targets, marketing and work overload. He's trying to switch from the banking sector, but I can only imagine how hard it'd be for him to manage time. ho skta hai saari planning flop ho jaye, afterall life hmari planning k according nhi chlti. But ek bar to calculated shot le rhe hain, baki upr vale ki mrji 😁
