@nmh ol I have seen some of those attacks. I will say the time she humiliated the lady by putting her on stage, during the show, in "Ellen Jail", was rather tasteless. Granted she will probably never do that again lol. But it was a little too much vengeance. But hey, nobody really got hurt, right? So what if the prank got the woman fired? Or kicked off the schools PTA? Or from snack Mom at soccer? Or any athletic or academic activities that she might have been the parent volunteer, now dismissed because of a prank. Does make one wonder..... How Manny tiny lies or accidental thefts that happen all the time to us every day, could ruin our lives if seen and counted as a crime instead of a mistake? Like something as common as dropping an ink pen in your purse or pocket. Not a deliberate theft, but it happened any way. Sorry, way too long a thread to make an inane point. So now I take my leave.🤓

She never speaks to anyone before OR after the show. After the show actually ends, she usually just says bye then leaves the set. When the cameras are off, she doesn’t talk to the people she hosts unless it’s a commercial break & the audience is still there except for people she really likes like Taylor Swift. Most of the staff aren’t even allowed to look at her or say hi, higher ups that she has to speak with are usually the only ones. And yes, those are all her rules. Idk any other host who does this lol

I did stand up comedy on an open mic night. It went over extremely well. The MC couldn’t believe it was my first time. I got two rounds of applause. He came up to me as I was seated and said “You HAVE to keep doing this.” Following week I returned and bombed with my girlfriend and other friends in the audience. Just couldn’t shake it off. That was in 1992. During the lowest point in my life in 2014 I decided to go up again. I was in deep depression, so not sure where I got the strength to brave the 0 degree elements and drive to the club in the dark, leaving the dank surrounding of a basement friends were allowing me to stay at, but I went...and did very well. I sat outside in the restaurant area as audience members walked out. One gentleman in passing said to his lady friend as he slightly turned his head towards me “I thought that guy was pretty good.” That’s all I needed to hear. Amazing what a little encouragement can do. If only he knew what a difference that made and how often I bring that up. I’ll be performing again.

Awwww thanks for posting this video! Very inspiring. We are all very hard on ourselves, we are our toughest and meanest judge. We can be cruel to ourselves, but definitely enjoying the process and believing in ourselves is an everyday exercise, and the key to keep creating and sharing our art and passions. Bravo!

All the haters plugging their ears when he talks about how grateful he was by Ellens generosity, because it doesn’t match all the slandering articles and videos out there that bring them joy while seeing someone’s life get turned upside down. I hope one day I meet someone who is perfect, because so many others have apparently, and once you’ve met perfection, you can’t accept anything less. I wonder if these lucky people have mirrors? Hmmm...

Okay just because he had a good experience with her doesn't mean that you need to invalidate and belittle all of the people who are victims of hers who are truly traumatized by that. Watch the video of the woman humiliated by Ellen for taking extra merch and she did that on actual television.. his great experience should not take away from what she put others through

@@Ena48145 I’m not belittling the “victims”. I’m talking about all those who instantly believe these false stories. I’ve watch tons of videos, including the one you mentioned. She laughed about it. She had to sit on a chair on Ellen’s stage. You know how many would pay to be on her stage? What Ellen does is called making jokes. Not about weight, color, gender, or anything else that would actually be considered hurtful. Ever see a Jimmy Fallon show or similar where they will randomly pick out an audience member, zoom the camera in, and then tell a false story about them? Everyone laughs. Nobody is “traumatized”. They put people on the spot at sporting events too. People get embarrassed. Big deal. We laugh it off. Some workers complained that they drove all over to get certain food and then Ellen never even ate it. 😳 Oh no! Go home and cry because she’s “traumatized”. Big fucking baby. Some people work there since the beginning and said it was so “toxic”. If it’s so toxic, then quit. You worked for Ellen which would give you a leg up over others. If someone stays in a toxic environment or relationship, that’s on them. It’s only a select amount of people with these claims and it’s because they are ungrateful thin-skinned babies. So many KZbin viewers inspecting the videos and putting their feelings into as if it’s fact. All these stars returning because apparently they like to be “traumatized”. Ellen could be so hurt by this that shear actually in shock by the response and knows it isn’t worth fighting because the cancel culture morons are like piranha. One drop of blood and they attack. They don’t bother asking questions to get the facts and there is no forgiveness or understanding. It’s one mistake and you’re done. What is it like to not make mistakes or have imperfections? Ever thought what it’s like to be Ellen? Super easy because she’s rich and liked? Maybe having to be funny and kind and full of energy is exhausting. Kinda like a family holiday gathering, but 5 days a week. Take a moment and put yourself in her shoes. Do that for anyone you want to judge.

I remember discovering you and your music when you sang “When You Wish Upon A Star” for Disney on their KZbin channel. That was 7 years ago. It’s crazy to see how far you’ve gone since then.

Aww I totally feel for him. It’s not easy being on tv. I had a sudden and unexpected stint on a talk show several years ago, and it is completely nerve racking. It’s like having an out of body experience. I hated every minute of it. I barely remember anything I said, even though it was all scripted and we practiced it 20 times. I never got to meet the host beforehand either. Just lots of “handlers”. It was stressful and I was so hard on myself. Never again!

What an Amazing message, I have had several opportunities, in music, scouted for Miss America when I was 17, asked to sing the national anthem at lakers stadium and other opportunities, I was always way to hard on myself and turned everyone of them down. I always wonder what might have happened if I took that chance. I just praise God in gratitude always and for everything! Being very self critical gets you no where! This message is exactly what I needed to hear at this time in my life. I made it my New Years resolution to find joy in the experiences in every moment, time is the most precious gift.

This was such a fun inside look at your experience. Thank you for sharing! I first saw your videos on KZbin when you didn’t have very many up and I remember binge watching all of them and wanting to see more. I would randomly look you up to see if you were making more videos. Your videos have been a light in my day many times! Your talent and commitment to create is inspiring!
