One thing for sure Kyle you definitely have to come and do cruises in Miami. It will really help me a lot since I’m local and I want to know everything in 1st hand and since you are becoming a expert on cruises it will definitely help a lot for the people like us to people that are tourists. Plus Miami is a very popular city full of international tourists coming from South America to the Europeans/Asia. Hopefully you do a Vlog on any Cruise in Miami. 🙏

@@divalayden8073 you need to watch other vlogger's videos; a variety of diff. posters hated MSC for many different reasons; judge for yourself but watch other videos before you book on MSC. I trust those reviewers. Are you going to bring your own basketball ? Is that ridiculous or what. No schedule until the night before? C'on. And using the word DESPISE (atrocious) for a bed?? Also others said staff is bad.

Kyle - no matter which cruise line, if your bed is hard ( and a lot of them are) ask your stateroom attendant for a mattress topper. They will always bring one, no charge. Do join Royal Caribbean Crown and Anchor online to start getting some perks. MSC will status match your loyalty level with other cruise lines too. Try Southern Caribbean cruise next time. Aruba Bonaire Curaçao. ABC islands. Lots to explore.

Thank you for being so positive. Yes MSC has a good “bang for your buck” experience. They do have some room for improvement compared to other cruise lines. The yacht club level and the Aurea level (with thermal spa access) are fantastic! and I do love the quiet of the private island

Ocean Cay is maybe my favorite destination that MSC has (of the cruises I've taken so far). I'm a very laid-back, chill guy and love the atmosphere on the island.

MSC is incredible. I'll never EVER understand the bad reviews either. The food (for me at least) has been great. Their ships are beautiful (yes, even the 20+ year old Armonia), and the staff - the staff are amazing!

Last day of a cruise is always a day of mourning but that sunrise was beautiful!! I always eat before leaving I think just to stay on until the last minute. The magic show reminded me of one I saw in Vegas - I liked it. You've convinced me on a solo cruise, it's just deciding when & what ship 👍

When we were down on Orlando for our Disney vacation over Valentines day I met a couple at the hotel we stayed at by the Airport the night before we went to the park that were heading on an MSC cruise the next day and they had highly recommended MSC for a cruise line. I never really had a desire to go on a Cruise but after talking to them and now seeing your latest Cruise video I am convinced that I would enjoy it and who knows, maybe I will become a Cruiser myself. Will be interesting to see your future MSC review when the ship is more full of people though.

If you have cruise/hotel status, MSC is hard to beat because they do a status match. I was able to match to Diamond (Hilton Diamond to MSC) and still had a bottle of sparkling wine, macrons, and free specialty dining meal which can make some of the fares even better.

Great review, Kyle. I’m surprised that you’d go on MSC again after not liking their bed. That would’ve been a deal breaker for me. Sleeping is so important after a fun filled day. But if you can put pillows to make it more comfortable, I guess it’ll be ok. I also agree on the hassle with the card payment. That seemed like such a drag!! From what I see in your videos, the ship looks very very nice. I would definitely try it out at least one time. By the way, you had “Fried Calamari”. 🤣🤣🤣 Catch you tomorrow, same Kyle time, same Kyle station!!

Kyle I would recommend trying a Holland America cruise especially one of their bigger ships! I think that was our favorite cruise line, sitting in the crows nest enjoying the views and the food was the best of any ships we have been on!

I've been on 3 cruises, total, now. 2 were with MSC Meraviglia, first with my mom and then solo. I thought I'd try something different and go on Mariner of the Seas for my 3rd cruise. I tell you, I was a little letdown by RC's service. It was also jammed pack on the ship too! I am booked again on Meraviglia for January and cannot wait!! I will probably just stick with MSC, for sure, from now on!

My daughter had the opportunity to go on the MSC Seashore in their Yacht Club and can confirm it was an amazing experience. Not cheap though.

I did the math on Yacht Club after coming off of a 4 night Royal Caribbean Cruise with a balcony room, key (for priority embarkation and Wi-Fi) and the deluxe drinks package. Yacht Club on MSC - for an equivalent itinerary - was (roughly) the same price. And you get roughly the same things I paid extra for on Royal *plus* a butler, your own concierge/guest services desk and free (full) room service. Is it expensive compared to MSC’s bargain basement prices? Sure. But it seems like you get what you pay for. My husband and I are going on our first MSC cruise doing Yacht Club on the Divina in September. I can’t wait!!!!!

In our experience, you should have been able to ask for a mattress topper to add more padding. We’ve asked for extra comforters and a fan for the room. They usually have them available. At the very least, it doesn’t hurt to ask. 😄 Looking forward to our cruise out of LA in May on the Navigator of the Seas 5/16-5/20 (it’s still super cheap, go book one so we can say hi)

We just got off Meraviglia this morning and had a great time! We really had no complaints. I will agree that the eggs weren’t good, but with all the other food there was plenty more to choose from. We put a card on file and they just charged everything to it last night, so nothing to do this morning. The was totally hard, I love a hard bed so I was HAPPY, but my husband was miserable, our steward put a bed pad cushion thing on his side.

Thanks for your honesty… I feel you were right… with only 800 people you will get a different experience. Guess I will have to try a shorter cruise with MSC. For your next cruise, you should do a back to back. My wife and I have done b2b’s on DCL and love having the ship to ourselves for a few hours. On a B2B, you have a chance to catch something again if you miss it.

Don’t worry Kyle you’re not the only one that looks for the glasses in either on your face or outside I’m down somewhere around the my house. 😬 $68 not expensive for parking. Your car is payed for you might as well just get it tuned up and see if something is wrong with it. Kyle there might be nothing wrong with it just needs a tuneup which is simple, and It will gives you peace of mind. We have a car is 16 years old all of the first 10 years was down in Florida who bought it up to Wisconsin it is our main vehicle in the winters. It just started to show signs of rusting. I’m talking with my husband thinking about maybe trying a cruise short cruise like 3 to 5 days. I like the last boat you were on not this MSC ship. Thank you Kyle

Spot on with your review. I've cruise on Meraviglia 2 times and Divina 1 time. This cruise ship (and Divina) is a bit of a throw back in the days when the free food was only the main dining room and buffet. Specialty dining is a fairly resent thing. But I think there are a couple of places on the ship where the pastries are free. Divina is definitely smaller but just as gorgeous. Divina is a also a few years older. I read that people complain that the food on Divina was not hot but warm or room temp. Other than that, you should enjoy Divina. Once again, great spot on review. Also, thank you for letting us join your trip to Atlantic water park. Wife and I just might try it because of your visit there.

I really recommend Virgin Voyages. I was on Scarlet Lady in October and it was so fun. It’s the only cruise I’ve been on but I understand it is a bit unconventional. I was drawn to the fact that it is 18+, and all gratuities, WiFi, and dining are included. There are no speciality restaurants - all of them are included and they were all amazing. The entertainment is like a constant party. I’m curious to see what you think of it. I think if you book before end of April there are some fares that are 40% off.

I would HIGHLY recommend a Norwegian cruise. I've done Royal, Carnival and NCL and find that again and again, I go back to NCL. There are SO many food options... and more free food options than on most ships, I find. (Although Carnival Mardi Gras had so many good food options, free and pay, that even eating at a different place for lunch and dinner each day, I couldn't hit them all on a 7-night cruise).

Hey Kyle. I was on the same voyage (March 31 out of Port Canaveral) and right down the hall from you. I have to say that this was my third MSC cruise and, this trip was much better than the last two ( I guess third time is the charm!) I was on Divina pre-Covid and the ship was sloppy and poorly maintained. I was also on Meriviglia in September 2021 and that trip was just fair. This most recent trip showed a much better side of MSC. There seemed to be a great improvement in the staff, food, service, etc. I am not sure why their occupancy remains so low. In September, there were only 650 passengers on board, even less than this trip! It's very odd that a ship this size would continue to sail with such low occupancy. I think the word was out that pre-pandemic, this cruise line was a huge disappointment and they are now concentrating on improving their reputation. Overall, it was a great (although empty) cruise and much improved in my opinion. Just be aware that it was not always as good which, is where all of the bad reviews originated. Sorry I missed you!

I feel like the bad press they got for the food especially is still a huge hang-up people have in booking with them. The fact that they aren't that booked, although I would think could be a good thing....some assume the ships aren't that good and that's why. These channels and comments can certainly help decide that's for sure.

Try princess or celebrity. Both "premium" lines. Meaning they are all about the classic cruise experience. The food is incredible on both as well.

You should try to be on board the first ever sailing of the Carnival Jubilee that is sailing out of Europe for the first time in October 2023... make a whole trip of it and go different places in Europe! That ship is coming to Tx after the first European sale and I would LOVE to tour it through your videos!!

Norweigian does have a ship at Port Canaveral. We went on the Epic from there. You don't have to go all the way to Miami.

Carnival cruise goes out of Port Canaveral if I am not mistaken. That might be interesting to see them vs all of the ones you have been on. If they are closer to Royal or MSC or even a completely different experience all together.

Fried *Calamari* lolz. I would recommend MSC Seashore than the Divina. But the Seashore sails out of Miami. But definitely worth it. I’m sure you’d enjoy that ship more. Divina is a bit classic, not much to see. Thanks for your review of my favorite cruise line! ❤️

So funny what you said about the bed. I also thought it was the hardest bed I've ever slept on! But I didn't mention it in my review because I thought it was just me. We sailed for Halloween 2022, so just got back. I thought the food was really bad, and this is why: there was NO seasoning of any kind! I had pasta with plain tomato sauce...like straight out of a can, on an Italian ship! Not a leaf of basil or oregano. The waffles and french toast were SO tough that I couldn't cut them with a serated knife. Everything I ate was incredibly bland except for the vegetable egg rolls, which were awesome. It's not hard to cook with seasoning, so my only conclusion is that they don't care enough to do a nice job. Even the pizza, which was properly cooked, had zero seasoning. So disappointing for an Italian-owned ship. They know better.

You do not have to fly to Miami for Norwegian. That was Norwegian Escape you saw from your balcony. Also Norwegian Getaway I’m in Port Canaveral from June to December. Norwegian Escape will be back in November and Norwegian Prima starting in December
