I'm a bit rambly and a bit nervous in this video but some stuff should be spoken about. camhs and the nhs need to change. if you have any resources or links that you think could help anyone who may be watching this video, link them in the comments and I'll share them here. thank you.
I'd really appreciate to hear some of your opinions or how the service has worked from your point of view.

i know exactly what you mean with the labelling stuff and them using words that sometimes invalidate what’s going on, it does feel really important to get a label even though they don’t think it is, it’s tough

I have an appointment with my doctor to talk about mental health stuff on thursday and i'm really shitting myself, this really helped so thank you :) do you have any advice on how to like talk about your feelings with your doctor so they like understand what you're feeling n stuff? x

+Had I mean, from my experience, the doctor is the easy bit. Once you explain or mention it interfering in every day tasks or school life, it usually hits them in the spot. Maybe dramatize it a bit if you think they're not taking you seriously (that's really controversial but you've got to know what you want or they could ignore you). Good luck, you'll be okay bab ❤

Lenny thank you so much, i struggle to say how i feel a LOT and i'm worried that they'll just be like nah you're fine kinda thing but also worried that its gonna be hard talking to peeps n stuff? c

+Had it's gonna sound really tedious but try taking some notes down on your phone of really key stuff you should mention or talk about, the selling points for why you're there. More importantly, they usually happily refer you to camhs if they think you need it because it means you're off their chest. you'll be fine 💗

My therapist left (wth) n now I see a psychologist but it’s awkward because he won’t speak until I do as with my therapist she’d ask me things but my psychologist waits until I bring something up

I have an appointment with CAHMS next week after waiting 8-12 weeks for a appointment as you’ll know yourself Googling isn’t the best thing to do when you’re looking for answers on your mental health🤣however we all still do it It’s been 3 years. How are you now? I’d love to hear from you
