I been using that combo on my 11.5 CQB, love it, over thousand on it now. It's solid. I shoot strictly up to 50m with it. Always on, very fast acquire in transitions.

I no longer use that set up but I do on other weapons and I couldn’t agree more. It’s a very sturdy set of optics and you definitely get the bang for your buck deal for his inexpensive it is.

I have the Romeo 5 XDR with Juliet 5x magnifier on an AR build. Its a great combo. I like Sig optics, however, Eotech all day long

It’s for both lethal and non. I just liked it and wanted to try something new. I keep it on a 223 set up which doesn’t kick as much as non so it works. I’m a fan of red dots only now so I use those on everything now a days.

Oh ok, ya I have an Eotech XPS on a 10.3 setup and a Trijicon green dot on another. I do agree you can see a lot more around the sight when looking downrange with the slimmer body red dot.

@@papabird121 niiiice, I’ve never had trij yet but maybe I’ll try it out one day. Now a days I kind of only rock an LPVO and a Primary Arms micro red dot on a 45. I’ve gone a completely different rout now trying to elevate the expectations of my rifle as well as myself. My home defense weapons all have 1 power what have you’s on em lol. I’ve got so many rifles and optics it’s kinda getting a bit much lol. Mainly I use primary arms, sig Romeo 7s and a few vortex stuff. I have 2 eotechs but I rarely use them anymore.

@@theflypilot So to be honest with you I no longer use this set up on my rifles but I use each one of these optics and have separated these optics to combine with other optics to change the dynamic in each and maximize each potential. I now use an LPVO and red dot 45 offset on my 16. And all my others are the Romeo optics only. I have like 6 of them and absolutely love them.

Believe it or not, I do! I actually have a few videos I just put up on it if you want to check it out. I’ve also torture tested them by putting them on my pistol Ak and my 16 inch aks and they kept zero for around 1,000 rounds. They are only rated for 5.56 but they worked very well on aks with no problem. Not to mention I don’t handle my weapons with much care when I take them out. I definitely think they are a great budget option if you want both a magnifier and a red dot. Another great option that is a bit more costly but WAY WORTH IT, is the primary arms red dots and their magnification systems. I gotta do a review on them soon as well. But if you do get the Romeo and Juliet, you won’t be disappointed especially for what you are paying for. Definitely check out my last 2 videos I posted. The 1 is all about the optic and it’s capabilities.

Also, if you have a short barrel like 7 or 10. I’d say also look into the Romeo 7. That Shit is 🔥 my brother. And it’s like having an aim point without the 700 pocket jab. It’s under 200 as well.

You can get any target like that off of Amazon or at your local range. You want to use a 3 or 4 inch offset as a reference at 10 yards. Then go to 50 and find your true zero. And if you are shooting suppressed, be sure to shoot at 50 with the can on or off depending if you are going to use it regularly to find the difference between hits to know your thresholds.
