Congrats on the job! Sure! So first is to use all the tools they give you. Form a relationship with your customers, be like a friend to them. Take a genuine interest in them and when you present the membership cost just break down the benefits slowly and show them how many savings they can make with it. If you're still not comfortable after trying it and doing it I'd look to move departments once you've made your year there. I loved working Member Services and it's much easier to get Plus memberships there cause it just allows more time and your customers don't feel rushed. Selling is also a very pushy job, you're gonna have to get used to hearing nos and trying to turn those into yeses.

@rebeccaespinal45604 жыл бұрын
Depends, if you're stocking in the backroom you'll probably need to use a Forklift alot which I've never used but you'd have to be certified to use that machine. Stocking in general is not hard if you keep up with it, just remember FIFO; First In, First Out.

Nope but it will be laborious I'd imagine. You'll most likely need a Forklift license which they should train you for, some jobs require you to have it already but I think Sam's will just train you. Fulfillment is stocking so I'd buy a back brace and make sure you eat well to support all the walking and lifting you'll be doing. Here's a synopsis of what the job is: Fulfillment Associates fulfill basic warehousing and stock order duties. They are responsible for offloading merchandise trucks, deciphering work orders, locating stock, and packing items for shipment. They act in a junior role and report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

@@KoryGrayson So the first problem was I didn't even get interviewed by one of the department managers. I was interviewed by a shift lead. He literally asked me one question that wasn't really a deep enough question too see if I'm fit for the job, also had no idea what job I was interviewing for. Then tells me basically a small office will get back to me in maybe 2 weeks. I'm still currently waiting and that was about a month ago. Also they couldn't tell me how much I'd make. It was all very vague and their job posting wasn't correct at all. Once hired they put you on a part time probation for a month and then move you to full time.

Is Sam's Club Job Hard Or Easy For All Of That Payment And Stuff
@rebeccaespinal45603 жыл бұрын
It's easy typical retail job. Hardest part about retail is the customers...as it is most jobs. You can just pick a position where you avoid customers if you'd like to avoid customers. Which only overnight positions can promise that. Sam's Club use to push very heavily their Plus membership on cashiers to sell but I don't know if that's still the same. If it is, cashiering is gonna require selling that they will push you to do. That was the most annoying for me cause I hate pushy sells. Hope this helps!

Is cart assistant hard at Sam club? Also do you see females doing the job?
@rebeccaespinal45603 жыл бұрын
I dunno if the changed the name but usually cart assistant is either you're getting the carts from outside or attending to people that need help. So I'm gonna say it would require a lot of lifting and physical work. I normally didn't see a lot of females doing it, usually it was young males. It's a strenuous job, you gotta go outside and bring in carts using a machine to rally them in a line and then you may also get asked to help customers with their unloading if requested. But then again this is just my assumption of the name. I'd just ask them to see a job description if they didn't already give you one so you can see what exactly is the core details of the job.

@@laurabazile8149 They took awhile, it could take 2 weeks or honestly mine was like a month I think 🤔 I actually forgot I had applied lol but you can always call them yourself after 2 weeks for a check up.
