Big Factz, Sean Price the hardest rapper ever, not just on some hardcore his format was stupid and can’t really be imitated, coupled with his Wit he was one of my favorites too, he ushered in this Golden Era 2.0 we livin in now along with Roc Marci, every underground artist wanted to go to them, that spawned the likes of Griselda and such.

Sean P is the best rapper ever to me I dont really care what anybody says to me. Hes the dude that spits just one 16 that makes whatever 16 you spit after that look corny and forced. Dude was effortlessly lyrical, funny and violent all at the same time with the toughest flow, voice and realness to match. One notable talent to Sean's writing was how he would make every bar symmetrically rhyme PER WORD, meaning every single word of the bar would rhyme with the exact word count of the next - "Hardcore rap and Mary J Blige Records / The God gon' snap, I'm wavin the 5 reckless." - 6 rhymes per bar - not many MC's can do that for a few schemes, let alone every verse. People dont understand who died when he passed.

I'm an hour and a half in so far and I'm thoroughly enjoying this episode. I'm from Brownsville/east new york so I'm appreciating all the gems Rock is dropping. I also enjoyed the brief decept stories because I had a few older friends and family members who were decepts in ENY. I was born in '90 so as I got a little older to my first memories it was kind of dying down. I say all that to say this, poison pen needs to come back and be the center of attention. I feel like he can drop some fire stories revolving around battle rap, especially from the early days when grindtime was just gaining traction and when URL was developed. Bring that man back Math. Edit: roughly 45 minutes after I wrote this initial comment, poison is involved in the discussion and these early NYC battle rap stories are fire.
