I'm that person that has to dabble in Colourpop! I love the Dare to Bare quad and the That's Taupe 9 pan. Their eyeshadows are top notch and so easy to blend. And you must do amazing looks every day because all of your pallets are well used!

Honestly I’m so glad that you mentioned the controversies with Juvia’s place and Natasha Denona. I feel like that incident wasn’t really ever discussed and is more or less covered up. I wanted to love and support them as brands due to their quality, but they really did put me off as an Asian person. Love that you’re very conscientious about your purchases ❤

Been with colourpop since they’ve released yes please! It definitely revolutionize the eyeshadow palette game. I remember in 2015/2016 when buying a same price from a different brand eyeshadow palette the quality is completely trash.

Oooo this is great! I say try the ace beaute flair first! I absolutely adore both of those palettes, but the flair is just so beautiful imo. One of my favorite warm toned palettes in my entire collection & I have over 200 palettes too!

The most eyeshadow palettes I have might be a toss up between ColourPop and bh cosmetics. Until last year, u had never heard of either brand. I think all of my bh palettes came from TJ Maxx or Marshall's.

That happened to one of mine (sugar land) with the white shimmer, and it only happened after I dropped it. Maybe it was cuz I used it the most so it got softer? Cuz I've dropped another pallete from the at a higher distance and it didn't shatter

Hey Judy I also saw this brand on Instagram I thought it was a Colourpop going coconuts palette but no the brand literally copied Colourpop from packaging to color story and I hope this brand gets suited cuz that’s literally stealing someone’s effort and hard work I hope Colourpop does something about it and I agree with you on Natasha Denona or Charlotte Tilbury or even PatMcgraph like their palettes are so expensive then they last you only 12 months but then Oden’s eye with your red dragon it literally says 36 months shelve lifetime that’s insane I’ve never seen a palette with lasting for 3 years 🥰❤️

I wish everyone would be more honest about Colourpop. Many people lost interest in ABH due to the constant releases but justify Colourpop’s cuz of their low prices. But in all honesty, Colourpop has not been been inspiring in a while, they just discontinue and repackage old palettes. They proudly call themselves the “Fast Fashion of Makeup” which again, people justify due to cheap prices. But what it really is is overconsumption and no one wants to admit it. Unless you are a content creator, you don’t need to collect every Colourpop launch and even if you were, I think we should all collectively make a statement to NOT buy every launch cuz it only encourages them to constantly release. Not to mention, many Black creators have spoken up with ColourMeBlack about the brand’s lack of diversity in social media campaigns and inaccuracy of swatching. Now there is the recent Harry Potter collab drama. I just think people are afraid of pissing off the brand, but if we are willing to boycott or hold other brands accountable (Juvia’s Place, Jaclyn Hill, etc) we should with Colourpop.

To give context on the copycat china brands: ColourPop palettes cost more than the *daily* minimum wage in my country. To people living in the US or Canada or Australia, it may cost approximately 1-2 hours of your minimum wage. If Colourpop was 7-8x more expensive, how many of you will try to find a cheaper alternative just to feel like you're not missing out on the thing that everyone is raving about?
