Matt I have a 6.4 and yours needs a Bulletproof diesel auxiliary oil cooler because yours is shot. To know for sure you need to hook up a monitor to the OBD2 port and look at your coolant temp compared to your oil temp. If there is more than a 20 degree difference between the two it’s the Oil cooler

6.0's with 2019 fuel standards ARE good. When the 6.0 was used in the US it was built around Europe's ultra low sulfer standards, at the time the US was VERY behind and using very dirty fuel, the US did not get its diesel fuel to European standards until about 2010. So, a serviced 6.0 with the bullet proof mods on todays cleaner diesel runs VERY well......6.4 is shit because of the type of emissions equipment it uses, thats why the 6.7 went to using DEF fluid and having a easy to service EGR.

I see you americans are buying more and more toyotas(tacoma) these days. we are renowned for driving toyota pickups here in south africa because they just work and simply last. I wish i could own some of your trucks even older ones like you mentioned. They are so well priced.

@@michaelmoore-xx5np ;) This man has given me hours of content I enjoy, I would never recommend a GM product to him. Even know i've seen his Escalade in a few videos, I hope its under warranty when the valves decide to make friends with his piston heads. (I'm based out of a Cadillac dealership in Pennsylvania.)

Mdatt, I had a very similar problem and on mine the radiator hose was sucking together. We changed hoses, problem fix. In addition I changed the thermostat in mine and I went up to the next degrees and I replace the radiator cap
