You have presented a very clear and genuine explanatiin of your problems. What I think from my experience if you understand yours is not just one case there are millions of socially unstable people with phobias but the point is yours is a bit on the extreme side. So best option is to urgently stop to struggle or fight with your demons. Just acknowledge there is a bit of issue it same as any other sickness. Then surrender yourself as you are fully to God to the extent of forgetting yourself and allow God to fully take you over fully and then walk slowly baby steps with God while he will repair your damages and make something good out if you. Also start watching lots of videos about people attaining healing from their sickness and other life issues just by trusting on God. You will surely be transformed give yourself just 6 to 8 months👍👍

Hugs girl for opening up.its the beginning of your healing.I have suffered since childhood because of trauma and abuse.i never knew it was a serious until my university days.i broke down in my first year to a point i wished death was better.no one understood me,even my family.i fought silent battles all along, but one day i told God its enough.i had fought enough,it affected my grades in campus for 4 years, dating, socialising and much.Low self esteem was eating me up.BUT ONE DAY I TOLD GOD ITS ENOUGH.I FASTED,PRAYED IN MY CLOSET,QUIT HOSTEL TO LIVE ALONE.AND SURELY GOD IS faithful. If there is any hope left for your recovery,TRUST GOD.HE WILL DELIVER YOU.I always wished for atleast one person to understand me,atleast to gather courage to speak up,but i have not yet gathered it.But trust God.He has done it for me and He will do it for you.Its not an easy journey, but there is light at the end for sure.

Jacinta you are so beautiful & this is the first step towards your healing. I think everyone has a certain level of anxiety i know I dont like going shopping on a weekend coz I dont want to bump into people I know & if I can avoid running into acquaintances I'll do it coz I hate that small talk that you have to do mkisalimiana. I think you should go back to school & pursue counselling you can really help thousands of kids who are experiencing what you went through in school coz you would understand them perfectly. As you say teachers & even psychiatrists didn't really help because they dont really understand the condition. You will be ok gal & you are so beautiful imagine dont think people are judging your looks coz you are perfect sometimes it's our thoughts that get in the way of our perception. Also remember other pple also have lots of thoughts in their heads so sometimes they may look at you but are not even thinking about you. I applaud your bravery may God continue giving you courage to step into a new counselling ministry for those who have even worse anxiety that they cannot even dare be on a youtube platform that's going out to the whole world. I hope you've heard of the saying DO IT AFRAID BUT DO IT ANYWAY. You will have a great life it can only be onward & upward from here 💞

The first point of healing is recognizing that there is a problem. I moved to a new country 4yrs ago. I am an introvert and change process made me experience intense anxiety. Palpitations, fear of the unknown, expecting the worst. Wah! It got to a point that I could jump whenever someone walked in a room unexpectedly. My room mate pointed out that I would be crying in my sleep. One day I decided enough was enough. I started taking long walks to clear my head, sharing my worries with God and listening to messages of validation and those that reminded me of God's love. If I felt anxious, I'd switch my thoughts to happy thoughts. Counseling also helped a lot, I opened up to a good friend. It's not like nimepona. I still get anxious in a new environment hence I often appear unfriendly to people who don't know me. However, I have taught myself to walk up to a new person in church or start a conversation with people.

Hello Jacinta Wambui, I just watched a video about you on social anxiety at 'Shared moments with Justus' KZbin channel and I thank you mostly for sharing this with us, thank you Jacinta. All that you shared in that video perfectly resonates with me, all that you said in that video is exactly how I would describe my life. I can say that listening to your testimony has made a positive impact in this life that I live and I also believe that it has also made a good impact in your life and in other people's lives who have listened to this testimony and pray that more people who have had this issue of social anxiety from a very long time to come across your testimony so that they can know that they are not alone in this and not live in depression. I can truly expound on how social anxiety has really terrorised my life, robbed me of the essence of life and made me to live like a walking dead but everything you shared is just my life, I will not run away from it but embrace it, I will choose to learn from it, I will let it become a fertile soil where something good will spring forth, it will no longer pain me when I think about it, it will just be ashes, like just a memory to learn from. Thank you very much Jacinta and I wish you all the best in your life, and really pray that you heal completely from the trauma in your past life, that you really be able to finally stand up without any fears and be established and never ever be dragged into the pits of darkness that you came from, go forth shine, those are my wishes for you. Thank you so much Jacinta once again and God bless.

Hi Jacinta, your story is so similar to mine. Am 24 y.o, have never dated, struggles with anxiety, a loner. Just the same. I think am better today than i was some 2 years ago. Please know that it's not a problem with you. You were not protected when you were young, you were bullied and you never had a person to validate your feelings. So you are normal, nothing is wrong with you. Were it not for your circumstances in your upbringing you would have turned out okay. So don't blame yourself and don't say you are abnormal. With this understanding, you can begin to appreciate yourself more and you will realize you have gifts that are superior. Don't blame yourself. Blaming yourself makes you helpless because you write yourself off. This is what i have been doing and it's working. Affirm yourself instead. Also try to go to the gym and exercise, it will lower your anxiety. Just rem that the people in the gym don't know you and so they will not judge you.

Yes the psychiatrist wasnt able to explain the condition but you have broken it down so well. I've lived with the condition for over 30 years and it has understandably attracted judgement...and you talking of the masks. I consider them a blessing🙂. Recently discovered that although others may dismiss it due to a lack of knowledgeable, anyone suffering from this should intenrionally choose to acknowledge their pain. Have empathy for yourself. Understand that it is okay to exhibit those symptoms for now cause you are a patient. Plus you owe no one acting otherwise but owe it to yourself to acknowledge your pain even when others can't. This is the first step to healing since we cant change what we dont acknowledge. Congratulations and thank you for the initiative you have taken. It shall be well

I have been through alot too and that changed me alot. Thanks to this wonderful girl, she has made me come out of my cocoon. Let me try and share a bit, something I have never done. I had a hard childhood and I matured fast in terms of responsibilities coz of the conditions during that moment. As a child, I was confident despite my traumas but with time fear started crawling in as I grew up. I used to draw, sing, dance and do poetry in churches and functions, etc. Am multi_talented but I fear coming out coz I fear people, I fear men too. I even held back from producing my songs that was my dream since childhood coz of fear and anxiety. Am always worried and overthinking. But childhood traumas and adult hard experiences has creeped fear in me. I have been abused, bullied, harassed, falsely accused, violated and betrayed so many times. Am empathetic and am the kindest and caring person and people take advantage of my kindness. I have been betrayed by people am good to and taken for granted. And that too makes me feel anxiety. I always find myself in love in staying alone behind closed doors and shut most of the world out, to avoid being hurt and coz you can't share for you always feel no one cares and understands you. Depression crawls in, suicidal thoughts starts to creep in and even attempts. I am always a jovial person, I love people and especially kids, am social and friendly when I get a chance to meet people. But after that, I run, go and close myself up and feel worn out with anxiety coz I never feel understood. I love when it's quiet without having to talk or see anyone. I always have fear of how people see me, if they will judge me, if they will understand me and so on. Yet for me I try my best to be there for those who need me, listen to them and encourage them without judgement but for me I keep it closed and it keeps drilling holes inside and am left bleeding from the inside. I have phobia even mentioning my name, meeting and knowing people and being known to people. I even fear producing my own songs. I always fear what people will say. I have tried to harden my heart coz even people tell me am too kind, polite and should stop being too good but it's to no avail.I like hurting no one so long you don't disrespect me coz I know how it feels to be unfairly treated. Am also to patient with people, timid too but wild if overly provoked.I overthink and I still find me engulfed in fear. This anxiety, it's a jail. I still can't share all coz I have been to hell and back and it has taken me too much courage to come out coz I never thought I could. If it wasn't fear and anxiety, I would be very far. I can stay for days without seeing the light and I will be okey but it eats you up slowly and you wish you were normal. I like to encourage people but for me, I find myself alone. I hope I will sooner gather enough courage and narrate my many unspoken pains in detail. I have also been post phoning having a you tube channel coz of fear, but I eventually did. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXvEgn-tYtmsmtk Kindly subscribe, thank you.

Trust you me, i am ever indoors . As it is, I'm in the house, in my bed. I leave the house at least once a month and for me to leave the house, I've to prepare myself psychologically & emotionally....probably some days before going out. And when leaving, i usually wear a cap, thank God, that masks are helping me big time because with the cap on and the mask, i don't get noticed. The social anxiety is super strong on my side... at age 27 i have zero self confidence nor self-esteem... In as much as i am dating, i am more comfortable in not meeting my bf in person... And if we have to meet, i always bow my head, ndio asini angalie. Same thing, i can't eat in public, i can't mingle or hang out with people... Though am now working on it... Personal therapy

Oh my God. I suffered the same thing. I remember sing 🎤 a solo in Church and my voice started shaking and I burst into tears 😭 when I was little. Even in high school I couldn’t ask questions in class because, I felt my friends would laugh at me or what I will say might be correct. At least I’m much better now. You will surely overcome it. Try to always talk no matter if you are scare. God will redeem you 🙏. I feel your pain because, I have been there. Even at my age I still face fear but it has reduced at least.

But in order to over come this , when ever I want to do something, I always get a friend or another person to be with so I can gather courage if I have to meet people that I don't know. Even the people I know if they are more than one, I go with some one, am in my 40s now , but having a friend or some one of a companying me gives me a lot of confidence. I don't know if this can work for you, just give it a trial.

I too could not raise my hand in class i couldn't even say "present" when the teacher called out the roll call, standing on assembly was a nightmare, reading passages in class, all those thing even asking for my change in a matatu, my parents especially my Dad are still worried about me untill now, and I'm much older but i dont how to over come it yet. I never knew it's a condition i just thought I'm shy or timid. First time hearing from you there is someone exactly like me.
